Alright, before I say anything i'm going to suggest to you to stop using tablature all together. It only hurts you in my opinion.
And before I start with your question let me give you a layout of the notes
#=Sharp b=flat
A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G#
that is the order of the notes. now take a look at your low e string ever wonder why its "e"? because its an E note. Its "low e" because its an octave lower than the bottom string (high e) and the next fret (1 in tablature) is F then F# then G etc
now on with your question
that question has about 5 kagillion answers. but the most common one youll get is probably A minor (the notes in this scale are as follow:A B C D E F G. No sharps or flats in this scale)
But seriously, if you didnt know the note names youll be a while before youll learn how to solo. just because you know a scale dosent mean you can solo. if you just run up and down the scale it will sound very boring. Youll have to learn to use the scale, learn to harmonize, learn the modes of the scale etc
Trust me when I say drop tablature.
But anyway, if you have ANY further questions ill be very glad to help you my screen name on aim is Darkwizardixi and if you have any questions ill answer it to the best of my ability.

yep, northerndragon is right, you should learn more theory, and the name of the chords, but he is wrong with the kay of the tune you mentioned....the chords are A, D & Bb no??? then its in F maj, or D min, or C mixolidian, or G dorian...etc yeah you can get loooooooooooooots of answers, but make shure to learn otrher esencial things before improvising...

its very possible i may be wrong with the key, because a) i tune differently than he does b)tablature irritates me so i never bother looking at it long

You'd normally start listing the notes of a chromatic scale from C. Sure, there's no apparent logical reason for this, but that's the way it's usually done.
The low E is not an octave lower the the high E. It's 2 octaves, not 1. 1 octave above low E would be 2nd fret on 4th string, or 7th fret on 5th string, or 12th fret on 6th string.

You could just use the A Natural Minor Scale.
But if you want to get really specific, use the E Phyrigian mode on the E chord, the A Aeolian mode on the A chord, and the F Lydian mode on the F chord. I would just use the A Natural Minor (which happens to be the A Aeolian mode) scale for the whole thing. Also, if you fuck up and hit a note out of scale (I've done it, it's embarrasing) do what I do: bust out chromatically with mega tremolo picking!
