not if you press record again a bunch of times and save it as a blank file...

the open the blank file to record over it again and save it, it works like a charm

pro tools is what all the big boys use, seriously most big studios use it... but even the cheaper versions are a couple hundred bucks, some versions go into the thousands....
i used pirated acoustica, cool edit 96,creative,ect..... to make it all work....
but soon my band will be going here and recording a couple songs proffesionally... so no more ghetto shite.

I liked the 1st mp3 only the I didn't like the guitars. Not enough gain on the guitars.

i know, it's one of a kind/custom.... he said it was like $30,000!
that studio is sooo expensive... but everthing that comes out of there sounds top notch. even the sucky bands. he's got a $74,000 protools setup that does EVERYTHING YOU NEED.... he also has a few racks full of analog stuff....
$500 a day(12 hours) .. or $50 an hour.... damn holy shit damn.... great place though and a really nice guy running it.

I also use Audacity. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but it's free and gets the job done.
