Lykathea Aflame
I've been hooked to these guys lately, any idea if there are any tabs circulating round' the net? I have searched a ton, but haven't found jack.

Not that I know of. Very obscure band - brilliant though.

Sorry to unearth an old thread but I've been listening to these guys alot lately, pretty unique sound to say the least. I can play most riffs of a step closer and old man and a child if you're still looking for tabs.

Hey Rick metal, it would be awsome if you could tab what you know of "A step closer" and "Old man and a child". (Or at least let me know what tuning they play in, i've been trying to figure some of their songs out for a while and haven't had much luck)

I'm pretty sure they tune a step and a half down (C#?). I'll tab what I know once I get home tonight.

Here's a step closer, might not be 100% perfect, and you'll have to count pick strokes yourself.

What the Intro to Shine of Consolation?
Those weird riffs make me hot man, but my own experiments have shown nothing.
The only thing I can think of that sounds even close to that riff is something like:
G---121212---------1212-9-9-9--
D-8-8-8-8--------8-8-8--8-8-8--
.. ..

I'll check that out in the near future, but don't forget that they tune 3 frets down.

Aaah Yes that makes abit more sense, thanks man. I keep forgetting about the other Guitar that helps to make those dissonant sounds.
Thanks Rick dude. =D
