You should have waited and saved up more money and bought a GNX4 or GNX3. My friend has one and says it whoops ass. I've seen ads for them and they got so much shit on there, it makes me dizzy.

Well i went to the shop and told the guy about the problem. he gave a new gnx1 and it did the same shit. seems like diggitech does'nt know how to work with micro-chips or whatever. the guy in the shop said i should try to download a new software for it. i did but nothing changed...

who cares what it does when you switch. I have a gnx3 and it sounds like shit nomatter what. I cant even use any of the effects with my amp doing distortion because the output is super noisy through distortion and if you go preamp->gnx3 the gnx doesnt have enough processing power do do anything with distortion.

no, the distortion straight from it to a poweramp sounds like a bad line 6. It doesnt even have a true bypass because it makes more noise bypassed into the distortion channel on my amp than straight into the amp. If i just try to use it to drive my signal from my guitar the amount of noise it generates is unbearable. And it isnt designed to recieve input from a preamp because it doesnt have enough processing power to do anything with it. I tried gutar>preamp>gnx3 and when i tried to make it pitchshift the sound faded in and out. So to sum it up if you dont have a good amp it sounds like bad solid state and if you have a good tube amp its unusable.

I had an rp200 and it never did that, even after I took it apart and virtually destroyed it.
