ISP-Theta Vector Amps
Before i was looking at the ISP Technologies website and i came across an amp called the THETA VECTOR ACTIVE GUITAR SYSTEM
http://www.isptechnologies.com/head...ucts&&prodid=37
The stats read pretty good although the head is ss, i think. Anyways i was just wondering whether anyones played one? or knows where i can play one?
cheers

that cab has to be one of the coolest fucking cabs i've seen in a long time and it's a really good concept... 2-12's an 1-15 in a single cab... the head would push the 12's and it has a 500w poweramp powering the 15.... damn... that would sound huge.
i don't know about the head, i've never heard of it.

It came loaded with Jensen speakers and celestion's are available too. The cab just sounded sub par(Harsh,Brittle). Yes it's a cool concept but need's alot of work IMO.

I'll be looking around to try one of those, see how I like it. On the sample, it sounds ok but if thats the best tone it can get, then I probably won't like the amp.

i've seen plenty of bogner and engl stuff on ebay, it's the used market, there isnt always a certain peice of equipment up for grabs, and top notch amps from botique-ish brands are really rare on ebay because there arent alot of them going around on the "new" market, and the people that bought them new usually tend to keep such expensive gems.
i've found that i like the harmony central gear classified adds alot for used gear. my guitarist got his 5150 off there for $475 shipped, and it's in new condition no rips or tears. thats also where i got my sonic maximizer and triple giant, both in pristine condition.
theres no feedback type system like ebay, so you have to watch your ass.
but i kinda like not bidding.
it's more like: a guys is selling his amp, he posts up on there saying something like, "like new _____ head for sale $____" and describes it, then you email the dude and figure how you're going to pay if you want it.
alot of good deals and great amps are on there, bogner,framus,engl,fender,mesa, you name it.
you can even post "Want to buy adds". i have one saying i'm looking for an isp decimator rack pro G, blah blah.... so if somebody selling one sees it they can email me and i'll happily take it off their hands.
another cool place that i see alot of great deals on is www.instrumentexchange.com they have a bid or buy it now system kinda like ebay, but it's not as popular as ebay so i see some really killer deals on some amps.
