What do you think metalcore/hardcore and punkcore is....



I really dont like the term hardcore. Because many bands are getting that name and hardcore is branch off punk and i dont like punk. People think bands like The Haunted are hardcore... Fuck That!!! The Black Dahlia Murders there also considered hardcore... They consider themselves to be North American melodic death metal not hardcore. Maybe someone has to explain hardcore to be.. but i just sounds stupid...

man...fuck genres dont even pay attention to that shit. It just creates "poser bands." Every band has their own genre, which is why they give themselves a name. Genres are like races (black,white,red etc), they just get people to discriminate another genre. The Death Metallers here mostly don't like hardcore, save a few bands, therefore giving hardcore a bad name, same with metalcore, punkcore and all that shit. A band is a band, you like them for who they are, not what genre they fit into.
