The Dead Sky

Lending an eye upward to see a bleeding black imagination
A sight foul to any brave man who stands brisk and tall
To even the last man standing before a face of destruction
A diminishing hope of a dark cloud that lost its killing rain

Bound by word cloaked by the dead sea sky of the machine
A sorrow of One great life that will bury the night shades
A wicked cold that soaks your shirt against you like wet leaves
And paints a bloody white image across the nurture of life

The silence that now rules the earth from its virus of pain
And contributes to the cause that we all deemed right with gold

There could have been another way to solve this simple task
A peace of honor and a knight so bold as to say “We salute you.”
Yet as in all cases of a stone that blocks the view of peace
He has but danced on an open grave soon to drown him

And though crouched in my cave of insanity I can but wonder
That this imagination has not yet passed into the material
That there is a hope cloaked by white stars from the cosmos
And a number of stripes pierced by rockets glaring red


We must all manipulate the manifesto that manifolds the multiform we molested. In other words, we fucked up, so lets fucking fix it!

dude, once again, you've done extremely well. although there was one part that i didn't get "A sight foul to any brave man who stands brisk and tall" brisk doesn't really fit, I think that maybe "righteous and tall" would be better. but dude, that's amazing. really amazing that you can pump them out so nicely. that's sweet.

Cool, man. I got the inspiration from the Declaration of Independence. From the line, "...that whenever any Form of government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, yadda yadda yadda." I've always thought - since the first time I've ever seen this - that one day it just might happen. All this buttfucking the Constitution that I hear about...

NICE! that's awesome, but what does this have to do with the Declaration of Independence? i'm hearing more about the sky than gov't. I started a really nice piece the other day, it starts out with "She shook her head and walked away." i'm not sure where i'll go with it, other than abandonment, but it'll be cool.

The sky was setting the mood. That's what the "imagination" was for; if one day I looked to the sky and saw a mushroom cloud. And the end was supposed to give a hope and explain what the whole thing was about.

I mean even though Wally's working in a nuke plant there'd be no mushroom cloud from it. Besides , power plants don't quite work the same as a nuke bomb anyways.
