Im playing guitar for a year just and want to buy some distortion
I would like to get a sound like khanate or so. this thick droning sound
I know that its impossible to get that sound with a pedal but tops are just to expensive. i would like to know what you think and if you have ideas
Heard good things about the boss metal zone
my amp has got a spring reverb and tremolo so that I think it could be somehow possible to get that evil vibes out of my amp

well, if you want a thick sound the metal zone is not what you want. i'd say to buy an eh big muff and a boss eq pedal.... thick as hell. on the used market you could pick both of them up for under $100(u.s.).

That too. That boss mega distortion is pretty thick aswell.
I still think he would be pleased with a mt-2. But it depends on how 'thick' his interpretation of thick is.
