i haven't been on this board in a while but i noticed all these closed threads about slipknot and nu metal and i couldn't help but laugh. i just hear the term nu metal and it makes me chuckle. but seriously its a joke how people think its the nastiest stuff out there. i have a radio show and all i play is death metal and grind, and every week we get callers wanting to hear slipknot or mudvayne, and today somebody wanted to hear devildriver, hahahaha. anyways, this thread isn't really relevant to anything, i'm just bored and felt like saying something

Cool, a underground death metal radio station. I'd love to have one as well. But I guess there would some idiots wanting to hear nu metal. The ones that usually listen to nu metal seem to say "I only listen to heavy music" but they usually hate death metal for some reason. I'll never understand the mind of the mindless.

Agreed. Nu metal is not metal. Allover the mainstream music industry you see 36 year old men that bitch about problems in their life when they too old and too rich and too much of sellouts to just shut up. Real metalheads laugh at those kinds of people.

Hay! Do you mean that once you get older and/or richer that metal will not be your thing? Sellouts are what they are with nothing else attached.
