these guys kick ass! From germany they have beats like no other band, good guitars, but the focus is thier drummer...im not sure of his name but check these guys out.

Their drummer is called Thomas Haake and they're Swedish. I've got all their albums and they're all very good. What CD did you buy?

My favourite Meshuggah album is Chaosphere. It's amazing that they use time signatures like 21:16 and the guitarists don't play to the drums or even use a click track when recording. It took me a while to play New Millennium Cyanide Christ perfect, the timing really fucks you up.

I think they've been on Nuclear Blast since the beginning, or at least they have in Europe.

They're okay. I liked them better until I saw them live. Their singer acted kinda dumb. He did this weird-ass head banging (I guess you could call it head banging), he's bald so he didn't do it so well. And he would hold the mic out to the crowd like we knew the words to the song. Their drummer is pretty good though.

Very great live, like robots they are, didn't fuck up once. Their singer was all about getting the crowd into it. Bad asses they are. I've got all their cd's my favorite is DEFINATLY Chaosphere. But Nothing is great very cool all slow and crazy.

I would think that playing odd time signatures would take a lot of focus. I saw a live video with them at ozzfest a few years back and I wasn't to fond of it although I like them. I bought Meshuggah's latest CD a while back and put it in and couldn't believe how shitty it was. I came back about a year later and it is awesome. Anyways my two cents. Rational Gaze is a nice song.

I can't see how anyone can confuse Meshuggah with nu-metal.

Clap clap - you're a cockhead.
Let me translate what your post has just said to the rest of these cretins:
"I'm not going to listen to a band because somebody I don't like listens to them".
That's possibly the most idiotic excuse I've ever heard.
