Ok a bunch of us can record on the computer
One of us should make a backing track, so everybody can solo on it and upload what we came up with!

The backing track should have 2 riffs in it, and you know, it should be good for making a solo to.
so who's up for it? make a backing track!

hmm would i have to mic my 5150 to record? or just take the preamp out and put into the line in of my sound card? Or i cna always uses my POS Zoom 606 pedal that sounds like ass

Once I used my zoom gfx-5 to record a 2 second backing riff, whacked it on repeat and soloed to that. But the file I recorded is 1MB or so, so I can't post it. It would have been good to see how other people soloed over it.

I fucking love making/listening solos that fit with backing riffs well; I tend to make sad solos, but I've also made afew badass ones in my time. I like ones like Six Feet Under - "As I Die".

I might find afew backing riffs I made and record them, but you'll have to record the backing riff repeating yourself and the solo. If someone setup a server for sending recorded stuff in, then that would encourage people to do it.
