Hi ppl, I would like to know what is all the equipment I would need for a band to be able to play as heavy and fast as Cryptopsy, Origin, Vomitorial Corpulence, etc.

To begin, do you have $50,000, not including a studio/rehursal/storage place, and some other ppl with any talent? If so then I will begin to list what your band will need, but to play heavy and fast doesn't require a bunch of nice equipment.

it depends on how great you want to sound.
if you are looking at used gear,
you could probably snag a "good" guitar,tube halfstack, and maybe a couple pedals for between $1500-$2000(american)
a decent drumset+ decent hardware and cymbals will cost about the same

hell just about every position in the band could get good enough gear for their part for about $1500-$3000 each person.

(Now back on topic), for $200 or so, you can get a some sort of starter pack, then after a year go on ebay, buy some old amp that can compeate with drumbs, and a bass.

Now, back to my point. If one doesn't know what one needs to start a fast and heavy band then don't start one until one has been into metal for at least a measurable amount of time or has a huge amount of talent to begin with.

But one could just look in the album booklet and read the list of equipment used.

The equipment depends on how much money u have to spend, if u dont have much try some multi effects processors like the boss gt6 or me50, for guitars, maybe some schecters , ibanez's or esp ltds, and maybe some cheap ss amps like a b-52 etc
