a really good beer, well you've got the belgian beers which are superb, like Duvel, Stella Artois, Jupiler, Straffe Hendrik, La Chouffé and Palm. (hard to get in the US I can imagine)
german beers are good too, you guys can prolly get Warsteiner, Bitburger and Becks over there, try those, they're cheap and pretty good for their money's worth!
the danish have 'Carlsberg' which is pretty famous in europe, a class beer, fresh on the tongue and easy on your stomach, good beer for hot sunny days.
the italians/french/spanish only have crap beer, I won't go into details, they just can't make beer, basta.
the czech and russians (and everything in eastern europe) have cheap beer which causes major headaches, but hey nobody's complaining since its about 20 cent for half a litre.
we dutchfucks have the obvious Heineken, Amstel, Hertog Jan, Oranjeboom, Alfa, Gulpener, Bavaria, Dommelsch, Brand and Grolsch... a bunch of those will be available on the other side of the ocean.
the australians have XXXX, Tooheys Red, Fosters, Carlton Draught and VB (Victorian Bitter). they've got some lower alcohol beers like Fosters Light Ice, and styles other than your average Aussie Lager, such as Blue Bock and Old Black Ale, made by Tooheys.
my bro brought me Coopers Black Crow, australian dark beer, not bad!
as for the Americans, we all know what they've got, yellow water they call beer, makes you piss a lot and it won't get you drunk the first couple of hours

Def, you missed UK and Irish beers! The UK has Carling (OK) and McKewan's lager (it's Scottish therefore shit). John Smith's Extra Smooth bitter is great, especially mixed with lager (called a pint of Golden round these here parts) and a lot of the UK's real ales are worth investigating (Like Spitfire and Abbots - won't get these anywhere else though). Can't forget Newcastle Brown Ale either, I love that stuff.
If you want the good stuff though, you've got to look to Ireland. Guinness Extra Cold is the master! Murphy's is OK too, but Guinness is smoother and more enjoyable. You can top a Black Russian cocktail with Guinness too - very nice!

Hoegaarden, yeah.. I guess I could add that one, but its not one of my favorites, its a belgian one that tastes dutch.
that dommelsch commercial is weird, but those new bottles are stupid, I don't think it will sell well, the whole purpose of drinking from a bottle is the taste of drinking from a glass bottle. from a plastic bottle it will probably taste like ass, just like from cans. |

I got a question. I just posted a lyric in L/P and when I looked at it the word 'lonely' was highlighted. When I drifted my cursor up there it had some bs about meeting singles or dumb stuff like that. What is up with that ??? Is there a word of the day/week/year that does that? I never noticed it before. I can think of some REALLY creative stuff that could be highlighted. Like maybe Def's name and it gives his address or something like that. Hmm, free beer would work, too, I suppose. Probably get more hits than lonely would.

We have a station called "REBEL RADIO" its country bs during the day but from 12 am to 3 am is pure metal. Early in the morning 94.7 plays some good stuff too. Oh and REBEL RADIO is a AM station... dosent get cooler than that.

In Germany we have just big radiostaions that play chartmusic all the way. We have just few small radiostations, but they play the same shit as the big ones. |
