DOD GRUNGE PEDAL FX69B DISTORTION PEDAL
What do you guys think of the DOD GRUNGE PEDAL FX69B DISTORTION PEDAL and could you give me some settings for some tones. I would like Pantera, Metallica, Iced Earth and Slayer tone or the closest thing this will get to them.

they're a bit noisy, but better than the dod death metal. the main problem with the grunge pedal(other than the noise) is there is no mid control, which is key imo. some bands throw the mids to 0, some crank em all the fucking way up.

Cough up $90 and get a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 Pedal. You should be able to get the tone your looking for from that.

go to the shop and try them out.....try a grunge and a metal zone.....and see what u like better.

and BLS bags anything that he doesnt have.....so that means when someone asks what amp they should get...he says a 5150....cause he has one......and he owns a metal zone....so they are the only pedal he likes...but fuck...there are many ways to get a good sound.
i personally own both pedals.....
but i still love you BLS.....i always will.

it beats the shit out of the metalzone and metalmaster pedals that all the tone def kids swear by  . i'm not to found of using distortion pedals, but the shred o matic is a very unpopular pedal for how good it is.

Ive owned one DOD pedal and thats enough.... fucker broke in 2 months i wasent pissed though it sounded like ass anywayz. And i dont own a metalzone. I dont use any pedals not with my 5150

I dont know about other bands, but heres my settings. I mainly play death metal.
Level- 12 o clock
EQ High- 5 o clock (all the way up)
EQ Low- 5 o clock (all the way up)
EQ Middle- 7 o clock (all the way down)
EQ Mid Freq- 1 o clock
Distortion- 1 o clock
This works for me.

just play with the settings man. different guitars & amps make different tones, so why use other people's settings?

Yeah theres really no particular setting for a certain band. Just go with the setting that I posted and tweak it from there so you get the tone you're looking for.

Tones
Could you guys just give me a tone like iced earth or something not death metal. You must know one even if its what you use on your amp. I have an old as ibanez sg copy 3 humbuckers dark mahogany.
