Anybody have a ESP baritone?
I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a big diffrence in the ESP VB-200 and the VB-400, besides that the 400 has EMG-81 pickups and the 200 has EMG HZ pickups.
So if anybody has an ESP baritone, i wouldt like to know what you think of it. Cause i am thinking of buying one, but if they are shit i dont want to waste the money.

those are not usa esps. they are from ldt so i wouldn't recommend buying those.
i don't know how long ure playing and what ure looking for but up to my mind it's stupid spending money in ltd's. they are poorly made and their sustain isn't nice at all. the same with non usa jackson epihpones and the non usa bc rich stuff. maybe u keep on spending for a nice usa made baritone .... donno it's up to u....

hmmm .... i can recommen buying the gibson les paul baritone for about 1400 ... it's worth the money and with it u got an instrument that will sound kicky and last till the end. it's better to spend money in one high end instrument than having 4 crappy ones instead.

maybe save up for a used ESP horizon custom or something?
used esp's go for good prices on ebay sometimes, still more expensive but a way better investment.
if you really want an ESP that is.

nah, its not too bad actually. just go to the german Ebay (.de) I've bought some stuff of there too, its like 20 bucks to send stuff over (l bought a preamp) a guitar would be like 40/50 I guess,
if you're fast, http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ssPageName=WDVW
only a couple of hours left and those things play like a dream.. theres a load more of good guitars on ebay.de
check it out.

Well i'm not exaclty familiar with ESP baritones but all i have to say is that ESP makes some nice guitars and baritones are kick ass so when you put them both together it would make a very nice baritone...thats my best advice for ya. Whatever you decide to do, all i have to say is STAY METAL...\m/ \m/

fact is, those are not ESP's but LTD's, cheaply made copies... EMG-hz's are crap, 81's are not, but the build quality of the guitar itself is the same.

First off their is no such thing as a USA ESP. The high quality ESP's are made in Japan. Ltd's are made in Korea. Baritones have a 27" scale so when you tune lower, their more tension than there would be on a normal guitar. Id say go with the Schecter. Schecters are nic guitars for the money and they usually come with decent pickups like Seymour Duncan JB's and 59's.

the high quality ESP, yeah the signatures, but the customs are build in the US, right?
I've played a custom Horizon with a USA tag on the headstock!

Yeah i know that a baritones has a 27" scale so it dosent loose the tension when you tune down. thats why i want a baritone, i always tune down to B or A.
But then you couldt say, why not get at 7 string, the thing is that i dont need that one extra string, i just need a guitar that can handle low tunings.
So i thought that the ESP vb-400 wouldt be a great guitar, but many of you seem to not like the LTDīs.
So may be schecter is the way to go, i dunno.

a 7 string is pretty different to play, the ibanez RG7's are an easy transition since they have a really slim neck. if you allways tune to b or a, I would probably go for a 7 string anyway, more range and tight strings.
LTD's, meh they're not special, I'de rather get a quality used guitar for that cash or save up for an american jackson 27'' scale dinky.
