I'm going to buy a Jackson RR guitar... but don't know which one yet.
The RR1, RR5 or RX-10D
I'm not sure wich one.
The RX-10D is nice looking, but some say it's more a starter-model.
The RR1 is super, but too expensive
The RR5 is good, but the golden plate is not nice looking i guess...

Some have the RR serie? Wich are positive points and bad points?

RR1 is the only one I would buy. RR5 isnt to bad but its made out of country and has a cheesey rosewood fretboard. Its neck-through but probably low quality. The other one I wouldnt even touch.

You can't go wrong period with a jackson. I've got a jackson K3 and it the best souding guitar around(but it's $650.00)

My rr feels great and soudsn great. Go play them and buy the one which you like best even if it isent the msot expensive one.

RR2 i also got mine cheap on ebay, just the body and neck with no tuners, birdge, or pickups. Which is fine with em seeign as i would porbably just replace all that shity anyways

Ok well first off as good as you may think your jackson soudns or plays their is NO way it is the "best souding guitar around"

In the most recent guitar world (with zakk and his new replica of Randy's prototype RR), there's a review of the RR1 and RR1T. I really wanna get the RR1T cuz it's tune-o-matic for a lil more balls. I'd say if ur a good player, get a good guitar and do go for the low end shit.

i have an rr3 but i busted the neck pickup so i replaced it with some ibanez sh*t pick up so other than the fat hum mine makes my rr3 is just fine.

how do you break a pickup? Id go for the RR1 or wait till the 24 fret version of it comes out in awhile. And i have a shitty js30 dinky but i have to say that it is the best guitar i have ever played, playing wise, not sound. I hate those horrible bulky ibanez (wizards are supposed to be thin but its bullshit, my jacksons neck is a hell of alot thinner and flatter than my old ibanez's), gibson, and fender necks.

I´ve got the RR3 and a ibanez JS serious and the ibanez´s neck is a lot tghinner than the Jacko.
Don´t buy a jackson and buy a Ran guitar.

whoa, what jackson do you have? you actually thnk the wizard necks are thick? both my ibanez guitars have way thin necks, plus i sanded them down for a smoother feel instead of the gloss feel that can get a little sticky feeling. i love wizard necks.

i have a stupid old js30 dinky, i had an ibanez rg3somethin with a wizard II. Sold it to my friend when he started playin and he broke the neck a few days ago cuz hes a dumbass, he like my jackson and thought the neck was a hell of alot thinner than the ibanez too so he orded a dxmg i think.

i'm sorry..... my ibanez guitars are great, thats why you shouldnt cheap out and buy low end guitars.

i fuckin love em'! but they arent the only necks i like, i'm not a pussy so i'll play any half decent guitar. jumbo frets or not i don't care, sanded down wizard necks or fat fuckin strat necks... it's all good.
i hate when people cry about shit like "i can't play those guitars because the neck is to thin" or "i can't play your amp because it's not tube".... i just need a decent guitar and an amp that allows a decent distortion and reasonable volume. sure it wont be as comfortable as my own personal setup, but what if i can't use my own shit? if i break my guitars or my rack gets stolen..... then what? cry about it or tuff it out and play with something else?
but i own two guitars with wizard style necks, i like the way they feel. even if i didn't i'd still play em if i had to.

I can play on wizards for maybe 45 mins before my wrist feels like its gonna fall off. I like a neck to fill my hands. I see no increased speed with a neck that causes pain in my wrist. And xdislexicx try putting some tung oil on that neck... helps from grung and dirt getting to the glu ein the scarf joint... which well isent good and it feels smooth.

i'll still play anything if i dont have my guitar or amp there, the only gig i ever did was with a shitty crate half stack but i didnt care. Im just saying that if i had to buy a guitar i sure as hell wouldnt get one with a wizard neck.

i'll think about the oil stuff.... but i have no problems with my wrists hurting from my guitars, i play for hours and hours every day and with no problems. but i know what you mean, alot of people prefer the rounder necks with less space in between the strings n' shit.... i just don't like people knocking my babies.

The wizard necks are just to flat and small for me. I guess I like a rounder neck.
