Les Paul pickup settings
For all you guys with LP's, I was wonderin how you have your pickups setup.
I keep the pickup switch on treble, vol 10, tone 10
My neck pickup is very bassy and never gets used
The bridge pickup is very close to the strings and has a very good death metal sound.
How can i make the neck pickup sound better?

well, neck pickups are supposed to sound alot bassier...
i use the neck pickups for pretty much cleaner stuff only, maybe with light distortion, but my neckpickups arent the hottest things in town so if i use them with to much gain it will get muddy.

thats exactly what it sounds like. I can only use it for clear too.
I lowered my neck pickup and raised my bridge one so it almost touches the strings when you press it down. It sounds percect now.
