Guitar cable: mono or stereo jacks? + Plugging a guitar into a soundcard
I've been using mono jack cables for plugging my guitar into the amplifier for years and I suddenly got confused whether I should be using mono or stereo. hehe. I think it's mono, aye? Anyone know?
Also, I'm gonna try recording on my computer. In order to plug in my guitar into the soundcard, I need an adapter (1/4 to 1/8) (or one could buy a 1/4 to 1/8 cable instead of the adapter). My question is, does the jack on the adapter have to be mono or stereo?
Bloody technicalities! hehe Thanks heaps! \m/
