Metal Magazines

Hey, I was looking around on the net for somes metal mags. I read
"Guitar World" every now and then. They're not bad and have decent
tabs. I'm looking for metal magazines to check out as well, that, have
decent tabs. There's plenty of mags out there.

Which ones do you'se guys read/like/hate?

Terrorizer is pretty cool. They always put cover-mounted CD's on too. Which is nice.

lol...not as of lately. I just try to get Pit and BWBK.
I get those other mags once in a while..
I think Metalmaniacs only comes out every 3 months or so.
As for the guitar world, I only buy it when I see something interesting(article) or something I want to learn,etc..

Kerrang used to be good about 5 years ago before it turned into a Strokes and White Stripes fanzine. Utter bollocks is a little soft, yes? Hehe, can you tell I hate Kerrang?

Even MetalHammer is shit. I listen to what Terrorizer has to say and that's about it. Actually, you'll find better talk (and more information) about bands on metaltabs than you will in most magazines. For instance, if you want to know about an Aussie band, ask Nihilist about them. Also, if you want to know about an American band, ask Nihilist about them. And if you want to know about a European band, well, ask Nihilist about them!

(to Jarrod: Hahahaha, sorry mate!)

I don't mind paying that much if I get a decent magazine, what is good magazine for like Thrash and Death Metal stuff? Metal Edge covers like (I cringe) Puddle of Mud and Korn. Keep in mind that I live in the US.

Terrorizer is almost exclusively Thrash/Death/Black/Doom/Hardcore orientated and is probably worth getting on import if you want a magazine free of nu-metal, pop-punk and indie. Go to www.terrorizer.co.uk to check it out. For the US, a 12 month subscription is 44.50 GBP (around $80US), which is quite reasonable in my book.

I recently subscribed to...

I recently subscribed to "Guitar Player" and its not bad. They put in different sections of lessons from beginners to advanced and so on. You can learn various scales and techniques in these sections.
Aside from Guitar Player, I also like to read "Heavy Metal", "Guitar World", and many other various guitar mags and they all have their pros and cons.
