They fucking rock out big time, there singers so talented, he has an immense voice and plays guitar at the same time 
Choronozon's a kickass album aswell, especially the songs Valley of the Crucified and Son of the Morning. There by far one of the best bands to come out of England recently

I've never heard these guys, but I do remeber an interview I saw with them. I didn't read it, but the quote was "I am Satan". That, combined with the fact that "cock" is so prominently displayed in their name doesn't help them too much. I heard their music is pretty good though.

They're awesome and Jason Mendonca has one of the most versatile voices in metal. Chronozon is my pick for album of 2003.

we played with akercocke last weekend and i must say they are really cool guys ,true people as hell,jason and peter are really into the music!!!
i didnt gave much attention to their cd but when i saw then alive i really liked and feel the power they bring,very great brutal blast beats parts (the drummer is a master!!!)

Try their new album, Chronozon, instead. It's a truly marvelous record and if you still don't like them after hearing it then there's no hope for you, hehe!

mm, black/death? theres a good local band called Shredded Entrails and they're black/death metal, I think they're own of the best in the LA death metal scene. Check em out at www.ShreddedEntrails.cjb.net

I remember picking up their album in a music store resently. I remember it because it has naked chick with a really nice ass on the cover. I was wondering if they were any good, but if they're black/death metal like Alien said, then I'll really enjoy them.
