Anyone into these guys? I just got "Fractured" recently. They remind of Death so fucking much. I'm in love. Dan Mongrain from Martyr is on guitar, and Mike Poggione from Monstrosity is on bass, so that probably explains the riffage department.

They are awesome. GOOD LORD Daniel is an awesome guitarists. I don't think they sound anything like Death though. To fast, technical, and the voice dosen't sound like it either.

Willotip needed this. The only good thing they released was Circle of Dead Children and Halls of Amenti. The other stuff I heard of theirs wasn't that great.

I think I like them better than Martyr. Better song writing.

Yeah Id have to agree I dont think they sound at all like death, but awesome none the less but when I listen to it I hear a martyr "edge" or influence but that could just be because they share a guitarist.

Yeah, that band is excellent. It's way heavier than Martyr. I still don't like the vocals at all though, I don't think they really do a better job on that aspect.

Guys, if you like this kind of (prog) metal (?), you might want to check out this band Augury from Quebec, Canada (again!), their first album should be released soon I think. They have some nice clean stuff as well as awesome riffs and drumming, it's really good. I bet you'll hear about them one day or another if you haven't yet. By the way, their drummer is Neuraxis' one. Just to give you an idea.

EDIT : Who said Capharnaum sounded like Death ? That was one stupid comment.

Ahhhh Capharnaum is fucking awesome! I enjoy this album more every time i listen to it. I espically like track 3 and 5. I also like how they change the vocals on some songs. The two vocal styles remind me of Kerry King/ANB and Mike DiSalvo.
