well if you get something exotic like a fennec or whatever else..make sure you really want it and aren't just getting it to have a cool pet. a lot of people get offbeat pets and after the novelty wears off..so does the excellence in care.
are you even allowed to have pets like that at your future school? we weren't..just fish were allowed really. i knew some people that had a cat, and one with a snake..but some of then got caught and had to get rid of their pet. |

Cat's would be good for an entry-level pet owner <- Lalwz
however i think that a dog would be rewarding because you would have a loyal companion, eager to please, fun, etc.
get something like a springer spaniel, they are really really nice dogs. i have two brittany spaniels and love em to death, (they are, however, psycho paths as most brittanys are) get a simple dog. or just ask moe blunts, he really loves his dog a lot and maybe he could tell you about his breed.
i wouln'nt recommend a brittany because they need a shit load of excersice and they are not normal dogs. they are pompous. NEITHER of mine like water even though, by their breed they should love water |

My friend used to have a really disgusting dog like that with all these weird growths on her face. One day, we were smoking on his porch and I took a huge bong rip that was too powerful. I started hawkin up loogies and ended up spitting on their dog who was, for some reason, right under me. I told him he should just put her outa her misery. Thankfully, she died soon after.

I have one black cat that I've had since I was 12... she's a tough little bitch, always picking fights with any cat she sees, usually wins too. I even saw her run across the street once just to beat the shit out of a poodle.
I want a dog at some point in my life though, probably when I get a bigger place. I've narrowed it down to getting a German Shepherd or a Welsh Corgi. I love them both so it's hard to decide.

i can't keep them. i'm gonna stay at my moms place for a little..then i'm off to officer boot camp for the navy. they won't let me have anything there really..just necessities. after that i'll likely live in barracks which i wouldn't be allowed to keep them in. unless i got a place off base which would cost me money..or i got married. if i got married then i could live in a real house on base and not pay..but would be able to keep snakes or spiders i think. even then..i'd be moving in the next 3 years or so. will be shitty for sure in that respect..i'll miss them.

I have a Dachshund, 2 baby turtles, and I am babysitting an annoying bird right now. It was almost eaten by a dog, so it's a bit scarred. Dogs are teh cool, unless they're too dumb. But even the dumb ones are so goddamn cute.

yeah, i got a FBS...he makes wierd scratching sounds, and poses as me in metal tabs forum. But i found out, without straining anything - this is mostly literate, i hope (not got the time to re-read this worthless post), perhaps my literacy can be based on a time vs alcohol scale, but thats irrelevant. I've had loads of pets but the latest was a jackdaw. It fell out of a tree on our driveway so we took care of it. Eventually it had to move out to its wild pals but I could still call on it. Then it got killed by crows .
