I've got a beagle, and had a cat who just recently died. I use to have this "Tokyo Barking Gecko", it was fucking sweet. It was completely neon blue (when not cameflauged) and it would bark like crazy when mad. And when it got scared, it would shit allll over the place. It was really mean too. Not the best pet..but it looked awesome.

I have a husky-collie mix the color of Ginger which is her name. A psycho mutt cat called Smokey that belongs to my son , Mike. A cockatiel named Maxwell that talks and whistles up a storm .He says "Hi Bird" when we uncover his cage in the morning . And sat and talked to the cat who sat and listened next to the cage. It's about 4 feet tall. Not the cat, but the cage.
Max is weird. He'll act like he'll tear your arm off unless you have cloth over your hand. Then he thinks it's his best friend. And you can't let him out and sit barefoot. For some reason he has a foot fetish and will start his little 'birdie clucking mating ritual' . Wally would tell ya that's true. He's a lot of fun. I've had 3. My female escaped somehow but she was a sweetheart and Meany, who really wasn't , was an abused bird I got for a friend and ended up keeping. Max taught him to talk, but he died of bronchitis in my hand. Poor thing.

we've got 11 cats. cats are great cause if you spend time with them when they are growing up they will love humans. plus where i live, there are mice and the cats kill all of them. one of the cats (gunther) kills jack rabbits, and sometimes they are bigger than she is.

My friend as got 12. The horrible thing about that is if one of them gets butt worms, they all get butt worms. Worms in their poop, worms in their ass, worms everywhere. When they sit down on you and then move; worms will be in your lap. Its fucking sick.

Not to mention all the shit you would have to clean up. I bet your house is hairy as fuck too.

ahhahhahaa. I didnt pay any attention to this thread at all until now. My band has just bought the drummer a parakeet. Its name is Waheed Shabubu. Its a small probably about 6 inch bird. We put it in a cage with three other birds that are three times the size of Waheed. He comes home from work one day and two of the birds are dead and Waheed is just sitting there with blood on his mouth.

i took these pictures tonight since i never see this damn thing. i fed it a baby mouse that my snake didn't want to eat cause it was shedding its skin i think. so i had to check this things hide for any remains ..that shit attracts mites which attach themselves to the pede and too many will kill it.

req, you should check state laws before you go much further with the idea. they aren't legal everywhere. if you google wolf breeder, it seems like lots of things come up..though most of them are wolf/dog mixes.

I don't think we could own a wolf especially in this town. I hate breaking this kind of news to myself. Just read a lot of information about them and even the wolf/dog hybrids. Only if we lived in a secluded area could I get one. A fox as a pet, I've never heard that.

hah yea they are cute little bastards. the only problems with keeping them are it is not the easiest to house break them, they like to dig in things, and if you let them loose..they most likely won't come back. they aren't really domesticated..though i guess i came across some debate about that. to be safe, i would assume they aren't.

edit..trans i don't know the ny laws...it's very possible they aren't legal there. i don't think they are terribly hard to raise. you need to give them plenty of attention, tolerate the fact that they are still wild animals (ie might not always go in the litter box. some have gotten them to be good about it, but not all by any means from what i've read), and other than that..there don't seem to be many tough parts about it. the only thing is that like many non domesticated animals..some are very reclusive or defensive by nature, some are much more relaxed and playful...i guess it would help to raise one from a baby.

hah dogs are the best loyal pet you can get. hands down. cats are cool..but very few of them i would call loyal. snakes and spiders certainly aren't. pretty much any wild animal isn't loyal. it could take a "liking" to you as in it would tolerate or even welcome interaction..but that is kinda hit or miss.

I've had my Great Dane for a little bit over a month, and she is now my best friend. I take that bitch everywhere and she is fucking awesome.

In all seriousness, getting this dog has actually changed my life. I spend less time smoking pot and more time getting exercise. She is really starting to become loyal, and it's a badass feeling. And I know I'm not gonna get fucked with when I have a 120 pound dog that is intimidating as hell right next to me.

make sure to read a lot about them. i think i mentioned it before..but it is highly likely that they won't use a litter box to go to the bathroom. also..similar to cats, they may scratch up furniture. they have some decent claws for digging. there is plenty of info out there though.

as far as price goes..the place i looked at in florida had them from 500-1000 bucks. i guess depending on how old it is. i'm sure different breeders have different prices too..especially if they only focus on a a particular animal. the place i looked at had quite a few different animals to choose from.

Check out whippits. They are smaller than a grey hound and loyal as fuck. Cool animals. Those foxes, according to wikipedia, tend to run away easily and dont tend to find their way back. They are also nocturnal creatures.
