Drum Machine....
Does anyone know any good drum machines that are at afordable prices, i just need one that i can play guitar to (i'm not a drummer), i want one that will be able to play realy fast (for death metal) and one that is user friendly.
Also, is there a drum machine program i could download off kazza lite for the time being?

I think Fruityloops is kind of gay.
Prince Charming, if you have msn, add me.
I will send you Sequbeat 7.0 + crack + a shitload of samples (toms, basses, snares, cymbals) so you can compose your own kit.
Once you get the hang of it it's dead easy to make songs. You can then play them on computer or burn them on a cd and play'em like that.

Zoom makes a good drum machine called the Mrt-3. I was going to buy one after I demoed it a while back, but then forgot about it. Now that I've been reminded I might still it get it. It sounds great and it's easy to use, plus It's about $100, which is cheap drum machines. Here's a link.

1/ Download Sequbeat 7.0 (pro) from their official page (but it's "trial").
2/ search for the crack for 7.0 on kazaa or send me an e-mail it's only 16 kb.
3/ search for drumsamples on the internet (ManyTones might work, try google) and compose your own kit and off you go.

Hehe, glad you enjoy it.
Yeah sure you can make whole fucking songs
At the bottom, give your pattern a name and save it. It will appear in the top left column (pattern library).
If you made a couple of patterns, just use the arrows to move them to the right column (play list) and arrange them to your needs.
then select them all (tick boxes), mark the first one and push the double play button (play the goddamn song).

That's weird.
Even then, Guitarenvy, as far as I remember, the trail version let's you at least save patterns (maybe not the whole song in .wav), but it's got a 30day limit or something.
Which version do you have, 7.0 or 6.7?

And by the way, it still wont let me save my loops, perhaps it's just with it being a trial version, do you think the crack will fix it?

I just read this thread...haha, and I am totally fucking lost. From what I can gather, a crack seems to be something that "cracks" a trial program to make not a trial? Soooo, I'm supposed to download the free trial, and then crack it? Is there a site that has all the cracks?
oh, and Fruity Loops is a gay program cause I can't figure it out.

Sigh.. Alright I will explain.
@PRINCE CHARMING:
Just unzip the fucking crack. Put the .exe (actual crack) into your main folder of Sequbeat. Then execute it.
After that, start Sequbeat, and when it asks a number (to register), just fill in a random one. Normally, it will never ask the question again thanks to the crack.
Let me know if it works.
@POWERSOFTERROR
Yes a crack usually removes a time/use of program limit. Try Google or Kazaa you can find a lot of cracks for software & games.

Just suggested the one i'm fine with.......but it doesn't seem so gay with all the drum samples you've got there, but i don't think everything that one cannot figure out turns out to be gayish! Anyway best of luck with the one EXOdus suggested.....well i'm gonna try it for myself...

Ok exodus,
i've unziped the file
gone into the unziped file where the crack is
taken the crack and then i drag it into the segubeat file,
which is an application file according to the properties file, and it installs the program again.
And then there's no fucking difference... any idea where i'm going wrong?

Wow dude... your computer is weird
What do you mean with "into the Sequbeat file"? You mean into the folder right?
This is copied from the additional file (in the crack zip):
.iNSTALL nOTES.
Apply patch, start program and push yes when asked for registering.
Than enter any number as key and the program will never ask this shitty question.
You see... I have no idea what went wrong...
Perhaps you should delete everything & try again?
Sorry man, I can't help you from here. I hope you get it working!

segubeat doesn't exactly apear as a file, it's icon is a computer with a box on the left and a floppy disk on the right, any clues?

O my god dude... That file is a .exe right?
INSTALL IT! LOL!
First install Sequbeat. You will then have a whole folder of it (under Program files I guess). And in that folder you should put the crack and execute it.

What do you want to hear or see?
Just a sound file of one or another song I made so you can hear how great Sequbeat is?
I can't send you my patterns because you would need exactly the same drumkit as I have to play them.

Alright man... I suck at guitar as well so.
I'll place the link here... I'll keep the song online for some time.
If the bassguitar/guitar would sound really shitty, just turn your bass up (that means less deep)(on your player/speaker EQ). But the quality should be decent enough.
As you can guess, this song is entirely made with Sequbeat (the drums at least, lol).
http://users.skynet.be/fa020387/rz/...Blinde_Haat.mp3
Let me know what you think of the drumsound/drumquality/drumrhythms.
I don't want to hear about the rest.
Oh yeah I accidentally took out the song with the most boring guitarriffs but whatever.

Wow, i thought the whole song was pretty good, i think you should try sticking some pinch hormonics and a veiw licks in between the riffs though, just to make it sound more dramatic.
the vocals i liked to, but maybe it would sound better if you worked on them, make them more powerful.
And the drums were fucking class, i'll have to take you up on sending me the drum samples through Email.

thanks for the (honest) comment.
vocals & bassguitar are done by a friend. I can't sing.
Yeah in some other songs there's a little pinch harmonics and more variation.
Send me another mail (search above) I don't have yours anymore.
I'll send you the stuff spread over four mails (four zip files).

@Guitarenvy
thanks man... I think I did channel guitar left & right, no? Anyway it's only one line so it doens't make much difference. In my other (better) band I put one guitar left and the other right so
Oh yeah I'll send you the drum samples too. Just mail me exodus666_be@hotmail.com and I'll get back to you.

no prob
goddamn man.. are you seriously you want to know? Don't tell me that's a good production dammit It's done by me, it's supposed to suck.
Anyway, my equipment used:
guitar: Jackson Kelly with shitty Duncan pickups (but I like them )
into
Boss GT6
into
Computer (Cool Edit Pro for recording & mixing).
Bass: unknown brand, shitty and old (wasn't me playing).
Plugged directly into computer.
vocals: Shure SM85 (or 58?). Anyway a good fucking mic, also directly into computer.
Drums: sequbeat.
If you like me to, I can post some other stuff as well (something blackmetal or so)
EDIT: the guitarsound is not as tight as I want it to be, but that's because the GT6's regular sound turns into shit when you plug it in. So you need to find something adequate and it's hard to get anything pretty good.
Also it's not very brutal on the deep/palm muted chords but that's because I play in E.

I thought the pickups sounded pretty good, i've just got an emg 81/85 put in my jacksons warrior (i highly recommend them if you plan on getting new picks).
And yeah, post some more of you stuff, i look forward to hearing it
