Looking for certain metal bands! (this post might be stupid) help appreciated muchly!
Hey all you metal lovers out there. i know this is probably the best place to be asking this kind of question. Well let me shoot. I am looking for a few certain types of metal bands. For one I am looking for metal bands that have lyrics that I can kind of relate to, like the kind of shit I would want to listen to when im in a shitty mood. Like.. children of bodom, or opeth. or umm.. at the gates maybe. arch enemy.. i dunno.. any help is appreciated on this question.. and I am also looking for good bands that have cool guitar riffs in them that could be fun to play on guitar.
or just straight up awesome metal bands. i like the kind of black metal shit, but not TOO black metal.. lol if that makes any sense.. i like emperor, dark tranquility, abyssos, arcturus, shit like that
Anyway, any help is much appreciated guys. Hopefully this post doesnt piss some people off

yes, that exactly. pretty much O_O.... im in a sad mood right now.. a few weeks ago I was depressed for a while and I listened to symphony X's "The Divine Wings of Tragedy" ..kind of good shit to listen to when you're in a shitty mood. or.... at the gates' album slaughter of the soul.. blahblah... i dunno.. thanks for your help guys.. i hope you get what i am looking for here. |

Go to your local metal music store (ha, like there really are any) and look for any albums that have the following, then proceed to the counter and buy buy BUY!:
-Pentagrams; you can never go wrong with a big honkin' pentagram.
-Black; the album has to be 60% black.....85% is preferrable.
-Leather; the band must be dressed in full-body leather uniforms in order to fully get the "evil-black" experience. Anything less is just really good music.
-Spiky things; Preferrably on the leather.
-A dead woman; necrophilia anyone?? Oh la la!
-Corpse Paint; while you're fucking that dead slut, you don't wanna look like YOU'RE alive and healthy do you?? Course not!

I got their CD once (Ice upon the night), they are compared to Children of Bodom too.... Their music was ok.
