maybe this has been asked before, but i heard that at a certain low frequency, an instrument or sound can make you puke or cause an immediate bowel movement. i heard it has something to do with the fact that your ear doesnt hear it but your brain still feels it, anyway is there any truth or just a rumor?

Maybe. And it's not just the brain, but the ears as well. 130 Db can cause acute ear pain, that like a close range gun shot next to your ear(but that's at a high freq.). 0Db is not audible by human ear. A very high frequency can be 3Db, and not hurt you at all. But a high freq. at 200Db will hurt bad. That's because your head resonates at a certain freq...oh say like 120-150Db. But.....MMMMMayyybe with low freq. A low freq. at 20 Db is like a person whispering to you, and a very low freq. at 200Db....may make you quezy, but I doubt you'll throw up. People only say stuff like that because they get motion sickness during earthquakes, yeah it's low freq. at a high Db, but hell, they're also falling on the ground getting shook up. That'll make anyone quezy.

The goverment is developing an anti-riot weapon which basicly is a an extremely powerful compact speaker which emits an extremely low non audible sound which will make the any infront of the speaker dizzy, vomit, loose bowl control and basicly be left on the ground immobile. It is not lethal and casues no long term harm.

I saw it on the History channel or Discovery or TLC, one of thoes stations...

I heard of that too, but too long, could create noise-hearing loss, which is permanent. And there's also some sort of Navy LowFrq. Sonic thingy that can detect other subs from a long distance, the problem is that it panics whales, which then surface the beaches dead.
