Movies prominently featuring transvestites are not made for Canadians.

Nah, it's not all that good. But it can be very fun, under the correct circumstances.

This Sunday morning's just too good to be true. First I read an article showing the latest poll - our right wing Alliance is not only in the lead but has a majority of it's own. And then I read about the battle of Sergels torg (Sergel's city square) Basically, it's one of the largest city squares in the capital, and they say that whoever wins the poster battle of Sergels torg wins the election. Well, we have a law in Sweden, no election posters before 22 of August. The social democrats in particular have tried to cheat and put up their posters several weeks ago. Every time the police had to come out and tell them to tear it down, finally some of the city authorities also got involved. And here come's the juicy part:
Yesterday, Saturday 21 at 17:00, several dozen people from my party marched out, each armed with large posters, to Sergels torg, unfurled the posters - and stood there with them. Here's a picture:
http://www.dn.se/nyheter/valet2010/...-torg-1.1157285
Along the walls, on the bridge, everywhere. They stood there with the posters. Of course the social democrats immediately went to the police and whined, 'cause of course that's the first thing you should do when anyone tries to put up a poster too early. Right? But, as the police told them, there's no law against standing around with a poster.
They maintained their positions around the square until midnight, at which point the posters promptly was put up on the walls and so on. And the battle of Sergels torg was WON. If only I could have been there myself.

The roads in Newport, RI are complete garbage! Low speed limits and the roads are in terrible shape.

If they don't improve the quality of the roads it'd be irresponsible to raise the speed limits. Not to mention dangerous.

And RI is terrible.

Ok seriously how fucked up is that.
Bad enough I`m having school again but when I came back home today I just saw the paramedics carrying my dad with a heart disease away. And holy shit he looked almost like a corpse, that grey he was.
My mum and my brother just went to the hospital to check what`s up. I`m staying here with my blind brother and can only wait and hope.

Edit: Okay he`s better but they have to keep him there. Just hoping he soon will get his donor heart :|

Oh and Paul Di`Anno will play in March in my town. In a club where about 70 people fit in. Just because he was so impressed by the crowd at the Rocktower Festival in 2009, taking place in my town too

I'll be keeping your you, your dad, the family, and doctors in prayer, Gommers. That's a pretty shocking scenerio.

I came here purposely to ask if there wasn't another song besides the one Nile did that was a Holst's The Planets song? I can't remember who or what the name was, but it seems I had one on my old computer. Thanks for the help.

That sounds pretty terrible, Gomli. I like it better when you're just the butt of our Nazi jokes. Hopefully your father will get better so we can go back to that status quo.

There are probably dozens of versions of Mars, Bringer of War out there, and you'll have to be more specific as a result. Most of the other pieces that make up The Planets aren't really as prone to being covered.

Well, probably from over 5 years ago at least. I know that's not much help either. There were no vocals in it and I don't remember if it was Mars or Jupiter, but I'm almost certain is was one or the other.

The latest summed up odds of the Alliance winning the election, provided by several large gambling companies - 70.4%. You almost dare hope... we're looking at the possible beginning of a new era in Swedish history.

I`m actually looking forward to see how your Alliance is going to change Sweden in it`s entirely.

Yeah I visited my dad in hospital today (I hate this place). He seems pretty okay but his leg is now infected (of course he has diabetes too) and it seems to be a huuuge infection. He doesn`t feel any pain in his legs because they are already pretty dead. Nevertheless if the pills won`t help to get the infection away his leg will be amputated. But the infection looks better then yesterday so fuck this

Haha, well, you know, it's never that dramatic in real life. The big thing right now is that the social democrats have only lost an election twice in the last century - before 2006, that is - and never twice in a row. And for good reasons, much of it; social democracy, labor unions and front line technology industries are what built this country. But the S of today have lost their way completely, working with communists and whatnot, just to get another four years of power. It's sad.

Damn, rough ride. If worst comes to worst, I hope they manage to save enough of the leg to attach one of those high tech prosthesis. The way I've understood it they'll at least allow normal function in everyday life.

Every time Gomli posts about his dad it's like that comedy trope wherein each tragedy casually gives way to another, deeper tragedy (for example, this exchange from Robin Hood: Men in Tights:

Robin Hood: Blinkin, listen to me. They've taken the castle!
Blinkin: I thought it felt a bit drafty. Cor, this never would have happened if your father was alive.
Robin Hood: He's dead?
Blinkin: Yes.
Robin Hood: And my mother?
Blinkin: She died of pneumonia while... oh, you were away...
Robin Hood: My brothers?
Blinkin: There were all killed by the plague.
Robin Hood: My dog, Pogo?
Blinkin: Run over by a carriage.
Robin Hood: My goldfish, Goldie?
Blinkin: Eaten by the cat.
Robin Hood: [on the verge of tears] My cat?
Blinkin: Choked on the goldfish.), and it could be funny if only Gomli were a fictional character. I'm blaming you, Gommers, and you alone for your intransigent reality.

Seriously, though, I continue to be supportive of your travails.

Gomli, if it's necessary to take the leg at least you still have your dad. I knew a man with a prosthetic leg and the only thing he couldn't do was get into a canoe. He managed a lot. A double leg amputee lived right up the street from him and spoke about his life with them to college students and any other groups that were interested. I know your dad's situation is different because of his heart trouble so just try your best to stay strong for him and let him know how much you love him. And I'll keep praying for your family.

As redundant/clichéd as it may sound, he couldn't be in a better place right now. Well, I guess a massive vat of oil filled with big-titted brunettes might knock hospital into 2nd place, but you know what I mean However, hospital AND a porn mag would seal the deal, so bring him one with my compliments. I quite like Ball-Stomping Dykes on Trikes, but it's an acquired taste, kinda like Chris' anus.

I haven't seen Robin Hood: Men in Tights in years. USENET!

You're talking to someone living in a country where transsexuals have to agree to complete sterilization (yes, yes, I KNOW, but they're not even allowed to save sperms or anything) if they want to do the big Op, while beastiality is permitted, provided you do not harm the animal. Grandmothers, pah.

Sounds like the opening visuals of a gore metal vid and the leg part could fit well in the middle. Please try to smile at least. I deal with death via jokes. The important thing to know is our bodies are designed to fail in time. Its hard to realize what that really means, though we are told everything dies from when we were children. I don't know your father, but I kinda know you. I do hope your father gets better, but if that is not the case; from what I have read, many people here are on stand by to help you with this. You just help your family and MT will be here for you in some part. The wonders of the interwebs.

The fact that you felt something by reading those words of support disproves the theory that friendships which are primarily conducted online are less valid than "real" ones. This shit is as real as any face-to-face friendship of the same depth, and you have every right to take comfort in it without worrying about how it reflects on you. You're among friends here who care when things go bad for you man, that's time well-spent in my book. Several years of shooting the shit with the same guys/gals must amount to something no matter where it's done.

Stay strong chief!

That almost brought tears to my eyes, or maybe it was from the onions cooking, but what Paddy said is very true. We're all friends even if most of us have never met nor will we.

I think I have more friends on the internet than in real life actually, don't throw your computer out, the older generations just want you to feel guilty from being able to understand the digital world when most of them can't

Oh fuck yes. Good lifting music as well. I also enjoy wanking to them.

Has anyone seen the commercial for Criss Angel's magic set? He is not only revealing his tricks BUT FUCKING SELLING THEM. I'd love to see David Blaines reaction to the commercial.

speaking about homo, I should be going to a party but I'd rather just sit and do nothing. I think the last 2 years of doing almost absolutely nothing socially has made me weird, lol

True dat, but for me my "real" friends are more important. Even though we don`t have sex. Wait . . . my friends suck

At least you know the Paddsy would hit the sack with ya, if you'd just cough up the money for an air plane ticket. Don't tell me that doesn't count for something.

Hey, yo yanks, if you happen to spot THIS MAN, do me a favor and point and laugh at him, will ya? What you're looking at is a crappy police novel writer and the social democrat's top candidate for the post of minister of justice. A few days ago he was offered to do a drug screening test (something which he rooted for just as much back when he was actually in office as he does now) during an interview, which he declined in a "No comments"-fashion. Yesterday, he upped and leaved for the US, where he apparently is preparing to move for six months shortly after the election. We're trying to win an election, what the lefties are doing I'm not really sure of anymore.

The "any key" is like the clitoris - it doesn't exist, but you'll spend most of your life trying to press the fucker.

I think I have one of those in the flowerbed by the barn. It's kind of viney and gets bean looking pods on it once the flowers drop off. I've heard they're toxic though so I just spray weed killer if I see it starting to grow again.

Now, if you'll excuse me I have a copious amount of unspent semen that needs to be unleashed before I go to bed, otherwise I'll end up having violently sexual nightmares involving Bobbi's blowtorch. With that in mind; tonight I shall be dining on bonobo porn:

That blowtorch, aka gas grill lighter, must have struck terror in the collective reproduction of gypsy moths because so far this year I have only seen one caterpillar and that was crawling across mom's driveway and I promptly stepped on it and squished it's guts while thinking of he who done me wrong back in another lifetime.
But there's a cool looking black and yellow spider on the garage I have to take a picture of. I won't torch it though. It's pretty.

Kiss it, maybe it'll turn into a huge humongous of an eight legged killer terror!

So what was the deal with that whole "moving to new server" stuff?

Don't cry, old friend. I only hate the things about you which are inherently hateful. For instance, your face; your stupid fucking Nordic face. I hope you get boiled alive and your bastarding fucking face loosens and slides off your skull like overcooked rib-meat.

I've turned up at your apartment with a bottle of Ł3 wine and a box of curry-flavoured condoms. My zip is undone, and my unkempt meat-muff is poking out like a one-eyed Jap soldier squatting in the jungle, biding his time, learning your patterns, awaiting the twitch of your eye by way of a signal to strike. I also have porn DVDs, poppers and a giant rubber fist.

You open the door, and before you get a chance to say a word I've forced my way in and have commandeered your sofa. I put on a porn DVD, and what's this? It's only the fucking director's cut of Shaving Ryan's Privates! You join me on the sofa, but I tell you to sit on the chair next to the sofa instead, because I like to lounge and relax before I do the bad thang. You sit quietly, watching me wrestle with the prospect of getting an erection, and an hour and a half into the film I finally get stiff enough that the little fella looks somewhat dense. The strange curvature of my cock makes the latter half of it veer off slightly to the left like a flattened banana, but you don't seem to notice it from where you're sitting so I'm good to go.

The credits begin to roll on the DVD, and I watch intently to see if I can figure out the name of the extra who swallowed what seemed like a gallon of spunk during the Normandy scenes. I give up the search and decide that I'm done with it. I start the movie again, this time with the director's commentary, but I can sense you're getting restless and need all four inches of my cheese-log inside your holiest of holes. I take pity on you and stop the porno. After I've watched the extras and deleted scenes I eject the DVD and invite you to sit next to me on the sofa.

I show you my man-clit, and you gasp, inadvertently inhaling the fumes from my profoundly diseased, rotting pudenda. You immediately thrust your head down towards it like you've just been whacked on the back of the head with a sledge hammer. Unfortunately by this stage I've already cum and have started making my way towards the door. You begin sobbing. I try to comfort you by reminding you that I've left the curry-flavoured condoms and the rubber fist for you to use however you wish, but you seem inconsolable, and my bus is due in about 10 minutes. Just as I'm about to close the door behind me on my way out I stop, and pause for a moment. I'm suddenly struck with a great sadness, one which makes me rethink my decision to hastily leave your apartment. I open the door and come back in again, pick up my DVD, and then leave. "Cheerio Pat, tell anyone about the shape of my cock and I'll fucking kill you" I yell affectionately through the letterbox. "Oh, and just PayPal me the money for the curry johnnies and the Fist of Colossus™".

I make it to the bus stop just in time and get myself a seat towards the back. There's a fat woman sitting in front of me, and she looks like she's been baked by a pastry chef; fat lumps of bready dough aching out of every vacant area of what I suppose could be called her "dress". She looks like a skinned walrus which has been sewn into a hemp sack. I ask her which stop she's getting off at, and through a hopeful smile she informs me that she's actually going to my street, and that she recognises me from selling birth control pills to Downs syndrome children at the disco the previous weekend. She begins to turn around in her seat, thinking she's nabbed herself some sweet conversation with the P-Dawg. I quickly and firmly explain to her that I'm only asking this so I can be sure to let her get off before me, so as to avoid some sort of "Indiana Jones being chased by a boulder" scenario when the bus jerks to a stop. She begins sobbing and jiggling, and I get an erection. I produce a small hammer from my pocket, one taken from a toffee tray, and I begin thumping her on the back with it. She doesn't notice.

You can pick it up from here.

I haven't even read all that yet, but I'm flattered. Or no, wait. Flabbergasted. That's it. I mean, just the dedication that had to go into it...

Edit - I slowly open the closet door the tiniest fraction of a fractal. The heady relief of having had the Paddy in my very apartment and live to tell the tale is mixed with a vague disappointment that nothing more happened with and to the guy on the sofa. Some people might raise objection to nicking a neighbor, taping a yellow mop on his head and gluing his lips together, merely for the possibility of observing the Paddy in his natural mating habits. However, the mandate of science would overrule such petty small mindedness, even if considering a voter for the social democrats as a dispensable lab rat hadn't come so natural to my cold right wing heart.

I pack the lab rat in a drawer for the night, distracted by other thoughts. How can it be, that such momentous momentia centered around a sofa could happen in an apartment quite positively devoid of every trace of sofas?

So im sure a lot of you have seen this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXINemV8E_0

the song is called Aeons of Burning Galaxies.
Does anyone know the name of the band this was written by or is it just a one-off track by kollias for his drumming video?

I actually did Ctrl+f the word picture and a few synonyms 9 pages back, I didn't try "photo" for some reason.

The funny thing about my cock is that it's listed on my birth certificate before I am. As the midwife exclaimed during the birth: "Holy fuck, you've just given birth to a 2ft penis! Oh, and there's what appears to be a small person attached to it. Strap a couple of wheels to it until the little fella is strong enough to drag it around by himself."

Dyldo, your album is fucking BEEZER (good)! The more I listen to it the more stiff and engorged my corpus spongiosum becomes. Glowing is the one I've been listening to most often in recent times; it gets better with every listen. In the immortal words of ABBA, "thank you for the music, the songs you're singing. Thanks for all the joy you're bringing" and also "Waterloo! I was defeated, you won the war. Waterloo! Promise to love you forever more" and who could forget "You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life. Ooh see that girl, watch that scene, diggin' in the dancing queen".

Fuck me ABBA rules. Do you think your next album could sound a little more like them? Just a suggestion.

As the year's go on, it's hilarious that some of us practically grew up posting on this stupid board. I joined when I was 17! LOL.

Thanks Pads, that makes me moist. Glowing is one of my favorites, mostly for the ending, and it really acts as a good final bridge between the two personalities on the album (that being the rocky/metaly vs. electronic aspects). Did I ever tell you that that 'beat' at the end of Glowing that kind of sounds like waves crashing is actually a chopped-up audio clip of some women in Cambodia chucking rice into a basket?

The next album we be 100% Neo-Swedish Disco Grind Pop, and all the lyrics will just be anagrams for "Paddy McManwhich".

Could you pm me a link to the album, Sir Dyldo?

Also, do you plan on ever upgrading to a strap-on? If so, when? And will this be used as a threatening device upon other members?

I joined the forum when I was 15 as well. It'd be funny to go dig up some RTTs from back in '04 haha

Tru dat, son. The ending is inspired, and reminds me of me in that it's as gorgeous as a midget silhouetted against a setting sun during the summer. Of '69, obviously.

Haha I didn't know that. The vocals during that part remind me of Eastern chanting type stuff; you even sound like a hearty Arab, and it's to your credit.

You can listen to most of the album on his MySpace page:

http://metaltabs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43971
http://www.myspace.com/deadheadroses

Glowing isn't on MySpace though, but check the rest of them shits out.

If you or anyone here has an FTP I can upload it to I can do that. The myspace link in my profile has most of the album, and the tracks not there are on
youtube . You'll have to click around the tracks though as I don't know how to make a playlist, never use youtube, and am too lazy to figure it out.

I joined up here when I was 15, too. I can't believe I've haunted these parts for 8 years now. And yeah, everytime I come across a really old post I can't help but laugh at myself. It kind of gives me empathy for Reqtum, but then I realize that I was still never as lame as him at 15 as he is now at 20.

Every post I've made here pre-midgetry (that is, pre-2008) makes me cringe, especially the extremely personal and emotional stuff I posted about coming to terms with Dylan's homosexuality. Fuck, 90% of the shit I've posted over the past year or two makes me cringe, but for some reason I keep fucking posting anyway. I guess I've been encouraged by the fact that the irritating, nonsensical and rambling shit I've pumped onto these pages has enjoyed a certain degree of "shelter" from the vastly more deplorable pit of cock-sludge that is the fitness thread (lol j/k srsly roflmao asl?).

I joined when I was about 21, so I never had the pleasure of having my youthful innocence gradually chipped away by the RTTs; I came here fresh from a 6-month marathon of gore videos and a childhood largely populated by the faces, voices and innards of Ren and Stimpy (peace be upon them). Oh, and two broken relationships which have left me with a profound and, frankly, welcome sense of my own mortality. Thanks gals!

You should all buy a copy of Dylan's album, it's worth it. In fact, the artwork alone is worth it! It's only $10 and all copies come with a signed photograph of Dylan trying to cum into his own mouth. To save Dylan the emotional qualmage of advertising his own album's sale I'll do it:

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/deadheadroses

You won't regret it, and if you do so what? Dylan got your money and you were dumb enough to send it to him. Consider it an investment in the priceless and precious commodity of Experience™.

Dylderton, if you want I can upload the album to MegaUpload and give you the link to do with as you wish.

The thing though... the actual thing is - this is the internet. Not talking about anything specific here. Just wanted to draw your attention to the fact. Should we ever end up in an unfortunate you-have-something-I-want-situation. This is the internet. And the thing about the internet, the actual thing about it is... that nothing ever goes away.

Good grief. Still lol titles and peramenapausal bantering by the male multitudes that is metaltabs, Nomad's evil son.

Should there be an unposting fly on the wall with a good memory they probably are staring brain dead by now.

I think at least twice a week we should venture into the archival innards of the past here just to feel warm and squishy. Those suffering repeated bouts of despondence or depression should do it thrice weekly and thrice weakly.

I just clicked "Last" and then jumped forward a random number of pages 'till i happened to spot an RTT started by a reg that's still around. The interesting part, of course, is what you might dig up with a bit of concentrated effort... *eerie music from unspecified location*

Shape-shifting reptilian humanoids from the Alpha Draconis star system don't age like we do. Ain't that right PST? If that is your real name, KRONGDELYTE!

Has anyone ever tried one of those Fretlight guitars? I just watched a few vids on YouTube demonstrating the concept, and it seems to me to be the worst fucking idea for guitar tuition ever burped out of an anus. How is this any better than reading tabs? In fact, I can think of an extremely significant way in which it's 100% more difficult; with printed notation you can see which note is coming next. You can also use tabs without hooking up your guitar to the PC, without depending on proprietary software to display them, without paying for them, without needing a special guitar to play them on, you can read/learn any section of the tab you want just by looking at it instead of having to fiddle with a piece of software and you can play through it without needing to find correctly-transcribed MIDIs which are catered specifically for your specially-made guitar/software. Also, how the hell do you see the lights if your hand is already fretting the low-E or A string and the light appears on the same fret but on the D or G string? Do you have to play in pitch darkness to combat this problem? And just what the fuck is this red lump on my elbow? Answers on a postcard to the usual address.
