Personaly I think actual Death Metal is better than Deathcore. Most DC bands sound the same-Growls with Pig Sqeels, Blast Beats and breakdowns.

I find it funny though, scene kids listen to DC to look cool. You see Job For A Cowboy mixed in with fucking Fall Out Boy and some mediocre Metalcore in their musical choices.

But it is the best -core sub-genre.

Yes, there has already been a few Christian black metal bands. Antestor being one of them. Yep, I remember Euronymous saying "The Militants of Norwegian black metal will force this band to split up." All they really got was death threats and shit, and they're still going.

I listen to some of the sub genres of death metal/metal aka Technical/Progressive and Experimental and jazz.

These styles are more interesting in my opinion i refrain from listening to the "normal" "regular" or "old school" forms of boring death metal that basically sound the same as all the other bands and are beyond predictability.

Therefore i see it as 2 different styles of music and i think tech rightfully deserves its own genre.

So it would be more like saying " i like pizza but whoa that indian curry i tried the other day was 200 times better"

Deathcore is not a genre, its a joke. The only half decent band to come out of that 'scene' is Whitechapel. The only reason I still give them credit is because I know most of them personally and hang out with them on every tour... They listen to real music, have good influences, and aren't into the rest of this mosh metal bullshit.

I know this seems like a bit of backpedaling from where I've been in the past two years, but after seeing what bands with breakdowns have spawned... Its made me realize just how bad it is. Breakdowns are over done, over used, lame, uninspired, and killing music.

Emmure is literally the SINGLE worst god damn thing on the face of the earth. Deathcore is nothing more than Wigger Fight Metal for 6 foot jocks who like to fight.

Come to a show in the northern Delaware/Chester area of PA; its a bunch of flat-brimmed hats, mesh shorts, and that arm throwing crap. Sad thing is, its not even hardcore dancing. Its shite.
