Gothic Metal
anyone know any good gothic metal bands? i love this stuff, but the only gothic bands i have are old theatre of tragedy and type o negative......
any other good suggestions?
in case you dont know, gothic music is easy, kinds slow, relaxing (at least i think) music. it is pretty keyboard/synthesizer heavy with piano too.....
vocals are usually clean or close to it, cuz if they scream or growl, it would sound to much like black metal......

Lacuna Coil
Tristania
Orphanage
Ancient
And Oceans
Moonspell
maybe even oldschool Ebony Tears. but now they do alot of screechy stuff.
thats just ones that i've seen less mentioned around here (i could go on with nightwish all day :P) and with no growling.

i'm just generalising the whole 'chick with metal' thing. i'm not into the whole thing too much, but my friend listens to alot of it, and thats just how i remember Ancient.

Ancient has a female vocalsit too ... but actually you can't hear her a lot ... and it's not a soft voice ...it's just like Aphazel's ... almost the same ... well the old female vocalist was better than the one they have right now ...

Just listing:
Lacrimosa
Love like blood
To/Die/For
Sirenia
Creamtory
Tristania
69 Eyes
++++++
All of them aren't good, but maybe you like them.
Ancient is the forgotten Norwegian Black Metal Superstars. Cradle of Filth is more gothic.

oh oh oh oh
wat about
Inkubus Sukkubus ?
i've only got one track of theirs, so i cant comment, but if i was to go merely on that track, i'd include them to this list. (but my mate that is into all that gothic metal stuff digs them..so i guess they could be included)

maybe yes ..but it's not because they are the best ... it's just that they are more commercial ...
If Britney Spears sells 4.000.000 albums ..then it means she's the best ?
