Its obviously a long process. And for some, it is more frustrating than others. Take me for example. My hair is really wavy. So Its down to my lip now, but the waves keep it about at my nose. Anyway, I feel pretty stupid walking around with my hair at this length. I always knew it was going to look funny during this transition period between long and short, but still. Did any of you go through this too? I guess in another year it will be long, but for now im frustrated. Cause at this point its just annoying, not long. My sister said i need a haircut and i told her "im growing it out", so she says "gross"... Like i give a fuck what she thinks, but i thought id throw that in there anyway.

I do understand the frustration but it'll pass. Pretty soon you can just throw your hair back and it'll look cool. I just cut mine off cause I'm looking for a job but it was getting to the kick ass looking length

Just have some patience. People are usually more impressed by it when it's in than they act like they will be. It's worth it if you want it.

You can still get both, but if you don't I'm sure it's covenient to be able to blame the hair instead of the person under it. However you slice it, though, a hairstyle doesn't have to affect your quality of life, though it can if you let it.

he's right. thats the best way to get through the shitty middle stage. until it hit even around my chin i tended to gel it down and brush it back ala layne staley in the later years. it worked on since if i parted it in the middle as i do now it would all flip out like crazy. it just takes some patience, after a while the weight will hold it down on its own, about at shoulder length, oh and a word to the wise, get the hair above your ears layered so the hair lays right and looks ok when you pull it back. thats about all i can think of, good luck. oh yeah and the shampoo and conditioner you use helps too depending on what kind of hair you have

I always wear a hat to keep my hair back, just put your hair behind your ears and wear a hat. My bangs are plenty long enough now (after 17 months) to put behind my ears, but until then, wearing a hat is best.

I may not have the best hair, but it reaches my nipples and I love it. .....when I slip on a shirt or put on my backpack I have the opportunity to flip my head back to fix my hair all girly and look cool. .....wait.....no....

my hair was down to probly my lip before i had to cut it. every one of my female friends decided that they wanted a picture of me with short hair before i grow it out again, now its only down to a little past my eyes.

pffft, i had some major problems with the shitty period. I couldnt go out on the street for one fucking second before people asked if i was a lad or a lass. It really annoyed the fuck out of me, but now its long (almost my nipples) and people shut up .

They just ask me to bang my head every time.

i remember back in the day (bout 6 years ago) my hair was like that and it was annoyin but wen it grows past ure chin thats wen it starts to pay off, and u end up just letting it grow. My hair used to be past my belly button but i had it chopped about 3 inches a while back to straighten the ends, but its basicly very close to my bely button again
