Haunted Shores - Cradle of Filth

-Wither (brunor@sggs.wcape.school.za)

Ok, as with most Cradle of Filth songs, the guitar work isn't godly - but
timing is everything. My advice is to learn the riffs and then try to play
along. I made a small attempt to show timing in the tab, but you should be
able to pick it up quite easily. Riffs 3a, 4a, 8a and the lead riff over 6a
have been updated. The intro riff is there too (named Riff Alpha... to avoid
me having to do loads of work restructuring the tab ;)

Riff Alpha: The left-speaker riff played really loudly over the cello bit
at the start of the song. Personally, I liked it better without this one...
 No timing as usual.

Riff 1b: Also part of the intro. Use really fast up and down strokes.

Riff 2a: The first part of the verse riff. Get the rhythm right or the
song goes all to hell. Up and down, quickly, etc.

Riff 5a: This is the keyboard dominated part of the song. If you're lucky
enough to have a keyboardist handy, no problem. Otherwise try playing Dm,
F, C, Gm twice on a clean guitar, then kick the distortion and play the
 power chords.

Riff 6a: Guitar two is playing sixteenth notes. Timing for these riffs in
the tab is non-existant so listen to the song. Good Luck!

Riff 10a: The chords played behind the "rallying war speech". The rhythm
changes, but it's easy to pick up. There's something similar to riff 11a
going on, but I really don't feel like figuring it out.

Riff 11a: Hardly a riff. The three lone notes that end the song. The other
guitar plays a harmony...umm, probably a fifth lower. Tweak it yourselves.
