ok, ander friden sang with dark tranquillity up until 1995, then he joined in flames in 1996, and he also sings for passenger, his side project
mikael stanne sang for in flames on their first album, lunar strain, in 1994, then joined up with dark tranquillity in 1995 for the gallery, and he continues to sing with them today
in flames had a singer between anders and mikael, named henke forss, who sang on the subterranean EP.

mikael from opeth is still my favorite, cus what other death metal vocalists actually sing as well, cmon, can you picture corpsegrinder doing warm up singing exercise.
i also like the guy from agalloch, he has good growled and clean voxs as well, he is a new favorite vocalist, and i've only heard two of their songs.

yeah i can instantly tell polish people, when i hear opeth i think he sounds english or american, i heard fenriz talking in an interview and he sounds mostly english with parts of scandinavian, but polish i can instantly tell, when i hear decapitated and vader.

I don't despise DiSalvo, in fact he suits the music well and his vocal rhythms are cool, but I'd still take Lord Worm over him anyday. I the vocals for Martyr are very cool too, because Daniel and Francois both have a bunch of different voices they can do and they pull it off well.
Luc Lemay's vocals just rule because of the sheer power and how tormented they sound.

Well if you're implying that I said that Dan/Francois's vocals are like Mike's, I didn't. But I agree, Mike's lyrics are pretty average. Ususally I couldn't care in the slightest but because of his "cleaner" vocal approach, it does matter to some degree. Still, he's a decent vocalist overall. He was definately much better on WS though.

One question: why is Malevolent Creation always overlooked? Hoffman had some of the sickest vocal lines I've ever heard (like on Premature Burial, Remnants of Withered Decay, on and on). GURGE from Lord Gore. That guy can do CBT bubble vocals with no effects! No cupping, no pitchshifters..NOTHING! No one can get as naturally low as Gurge. He's 101% pure sickness.
