If you post some pics of the neck side ona dn the truss rod nut at the headstock I may be able to help you as I've used dual action rods before adn know how to work them...
Who loosened it all the way btw?
if it was the shop id avoid them like the plauge as your supposed to use 1/4 turns...
hope its sorted for you as I know how great ran's play....

If I were to get my custom RAN rhoads flying v, would it have the red outline on the body like the that one dude on this forum who has that sick rhoads v? Sorry if this has already been asked but I feel sick as a dog today and only used the search function. Cuz I'm filling out the quote form right now and I'm not sure if the white that goes on the outer edge of the v is binding or is just paint for this persons custom RAN:

A new made guitar requires about a year or two before everything sets completely. The first year is critical for the neck. It will even warp or more likely not during that time, but you will HAVE to adjust the truss rod at least once ( I did ), and at the max 3 times, within that year. The wood is new and under stress. That is why they make truss rods. After/within the first year you might have to adjust the truss maybe once a year after and this is if you only use the same string size.
Sounds like the jock that tried to adjust your truss might have been a bit confused and actually completely unscrewed the truss from the nut. If he confused the direction of the truss without checking the clearance on the frets in small adjustment, the fucktard might have very well unscrewed the damn thing. Some truss rods actually tighten in the opposite direction. Just depends on who made it. Big D doesn't make truss rods and a guitar tech should be aware of that fact.
A decent/great tech knows how to look at a guitar and evaluate how to correctly fix the alignment on all levels. A good tech knows how to blame/perhaps fake blame it on the maker or the user. BEWARE!
Keep that in mind. That is why I learned how to fix my own crap years ago. Never trust a tech unless you have worked with them or they let you work with them. KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOUR GUITAR. That is why most get custom made guitars. To know what just how what/how is being made.
I bet Big D will be your best help because he actually made the guitar.

Hey guys I'd like to add that I have been busy with collage so no new pics till this weekend sorry for the wait though, I'll also add that my Ran's neck has been really great, I presume that due to it being shipped july that it was a similar temp in poland to the uk so there wasent too much of amjaor difference to affect it ill probably need to readjust after xmas....

I did my first gig with my Urban Camo KKV/RDV tonight... The guitar sounded, felt and acted great live. Too bad I sucked big time tonight! It was far the worst gig we ever done.  I even fucked Raining Blood up! I´ve never done that before and I´ve been playing that song over 11 years now! Got damn...

Ran Guitars rule! They got a really good finish on ther necks so it´s easy as hell to slide back and forth. On some bads guitar I´ve played that´s always been a problem, the neck being "sticky". I hate that! But that ain´t a problem with Ran Guitars...

OMG! It even has the body shape of a B.C. Rich. It might just be my imagination but it seems most Ran Vs have a body shape more like Jackson Vs. Could be that there are no body bevels or maybe its the paint, not sure.

You´re right. I think I´m the only one that got a KKV body shape. They usually do the Jackson/ESP Dave Mustain Vs. They got the shape and size dead on! I got a US Custom BC Rich Tribe and my Ran KKV is exactly the same size and shape.

The money got to them today so the guitar it´s on it´s way! I think it will take 2-3 days but last time Schenker couldn´t find my apartment so I had to get it myself at their office 30 km away... I hope I´ll get it this week.

it's actually 5 months, it also depends if you change shit midway through construction, etc etc.
