Once you get the main riff down ( the very first one ) the song is easy, actually. Because then there are about 4-5 mid-level difficulty riffs to learn, and voila, you've learned Frantic Disembowelment. |

Immortal - Withstand the Fall of Time (mostly the whole song but to be specific the one at 3:04 and then they play it again fading out at the end)
Agathodaimon - Paradise Beyond (part starting at 3:11 with the piano in the back. sounds awesome)
Between the Buried and Me - Fire For a Dry Mouth (4:52 to the end. harmonies are awesome)
Darkane - A Wisdom's Breed (whole songs full of great riffs but the first half a minute of the song is really good)
Lost Horizon - Pure (WHOLE FUCKING SONG!!!)

One that comes to mind is "Neogenesis" by Enslaved. The riff comes in like 2 or 3 minutes into the song. It is actually pretty simple, but gets me going everytime.

Naming your top five riffs ever is near impossible, well for me anyway. But one absolutely killer riff that springs to mind immediately is the riff filled with the 16th-16th-8th bits at 2:48 in 'Descending Upon Convulsive Devourment' by Disgorge. Brilliant fucking brilliant.

Edge of Sanity: (Crimson II) Incantation - towards the end, and is introduced by Dan going "ooah". You'll also find it as the rhythm behind the intro to Face of Face, but the keyboards make it sound so much better in Incantation.
