That is what the naive would call "the beauty of it".

In my opinion the best Opeth song is Forests of October, its just so tragic sounding, that and Dirge for November.

closure..
especially the version on lamentations...
they had to add a groove half way through for mikael to switch guitars and it actually makes the song twice as good.

I don't have a favorite Opeth song. It's too damn hard to decide.
And I have a question. Why does everyone hate Ghost Reveries? Yes, they have changed, but I still love them. Ghost of Perdition kicks ass in my opinion. IDK, maybe theres something I'm missing here. Some people say things like "It's not as fast as the other album." True, but I still love their music.
And to the guy that said that seeing Opeth live sucks.............how dare you..... Yes, they don't have much of a stage show, but just the presence of them right there in front of you playing their wonderful music and the atmosphere of the place, I love it. But whatever, just my opinion.

my all time favorite Opeth song would have to "Reverie/Harlequin Forest" from the album "Ghost Reveries" i like it mainly because i can play it on my bass guitar. my second favorite would have to be "Moonlapse Vertigo"
