dude, speaking of which, and i cant believe i forgot (when i was mentioning batteries), i paid 16 fucking dollars for 8 double Ds and 3 double As. i think i may have mentioned on msn. my car cd player fucked up long ago, so ive been using a portable stereo. so yeah, two fucking days later i went to turn it on, for music in the car, and it says "check batteries"... i took the stereo to my room and threw it on the floor of the closet. thats just stupid. batteries last longer in the cold, do they not? and its been cold here. fuck it, that thing is history. and i know i mentioned that check, so yeah, new cd player for the car is on the way. oh wait... maybe i should get a record player for my car!!! ...

Transilvanian Hunger sounds better than any vinyl I've ever heard.

That record actually sounds better on the actual 12", which is still in print.



Correction: Record collectors are pretentious assholes(Sore Throat reference ). And poor recording? Its a fucking FACT that vinyl records have better sound quality than CD. Not to mention you can fit around an hour and a half or more of music on vinyl.
Did I mention vinyl is generally cheaper?

Vynil is cool, just very unpractical for me as I don't have a vynil player/can't take the vynils on the go anywhere, etc.

I've never seen a metal vynil I'd ever buy sell for over 50$.

haha Darkspace is black metal of the ambient nature. Not at all like other ambient bm thats for sure. Instead of a bunch of stupid fucking synth doodling along with crickets or whatever, they are able too create that 'wall of sound' with very low-fi production. It's a little overwhelming at times(especially high, goddamn) but it's a very rewarding listen. Hear new things every time. I swear, the term 'wall of sound' was created to describe this band. I made a thread not to long ago...

Yep. It's pretty good but not massively different from the original. The box set is the pride and joy of my collection. Each album comes in its own mini-box (slightly larger than a jewel case) and is very sexy!

Let me say good list.
this year has been a long one for Metal
with the release and dissapiontment of
Slipknot's new album(Phycosocial was the only good song),to the new Guns n' Roses
album that dosent even sound like Metal and more like classic rock. but it seems Like Death Magnetic by Metallica Has done well also I think Trivium's new album should have got a spot in this list but thats just me.
