Yeah I started out really not liking LDoH, having listened to In Advanced Haemorrhaging conditions and seeing it as just annoying noise., but it's growing on me and I'm beginning to love their fast, cut-to-the-chase raw style.

I like Meat Shits, but I feel as if they took the porno/grind route rather than the straight up noise-y route Anal Cunt took. I like AC more, but MS has great samples.
AxCx/MxSx split = gold. I found it at my record store and bought it immediatly along with a bunch of old Meat Shits 7"s. |

It's exactly why I love them. They are the most perfect goregrind band. The vocals are completely inhuman, the snare sounds like a garbage can getting hit with 45234587 bats at once, and the bass/guitar tone is complete mud. |

If you're talking about Bleeeaaaauuuurrrggg! it was a 7" put out in the early 90s by Slap-a-Ham and had 41 bands playing 64 songs. All were either Punk or Grind bands. Then like 2 years after that they put out another that had 54 bands playing 69 songs. Then a awhile later they released a third with 73 bands playing 83 songs.
They put all 3 onto cd recently so do the math 168 bands playing 216 songs. This is all in around 40 minutes or so. |

yeah dude, I hate those "I killed this bitch... etc.." or gore intros. I think they suck and they are cliche as fuck. I prefer something comedic to bring up the vibe. Groove-age and comedy = some nice brutal music.

I only like those Serial Killer documentery intros when Impetigo does them. Cause it fits so well.
I really like how Splatterhouse used that Futurama sample in the song Warmest Place To Hide. The intro was Fry going "I hope satan has a nice colon..cause that's where your going to be living!" and then the outro was the professer going "That bloodthirsty, cadaver junkie can't touch us as long as were not stupid enough to leave this building!" HEHHEHEHE

Dude The Berzerker are ANTI GRINDCORE. From the start they only tried to make the hardest most complex music around [they failed but hey they tried.] The basis of grindcore is simplicity. Read a book or the internet or something about grindcore before you keep making a fool of yourself.

It started out as speedcore basically so I can see the parallel between grindcore (if punk rock and techno were lined up).

There was a grindcore band with the gore thing going on in the early 90's called Dismembered Fetus who were pretty fucking cool. I wonder if Dying Fetus got their name from them?

EXTREME NOISE TERROR haven't been mentioned yet I think. They started off more as a crust band but later became grindcore. They were the most influential band for Terrorizer btw, and Mick Harris formerly from ND played drums with them for some time.
Cretin are a relatively new band, really really good stuff! Kinda like a modernized Repulsion, with humorous lyrics.
I generally only like the strictly social/political themed grind, a lot of goregrind just seems really fucking silly to me. I don't consider it grindcore, I think of it as a different genre because goregrind has no hardcore punk sound in it, which is the core element of grind really.

Impetigo's first Ultimo Mondo Cannibale CD has some influences of hardcore punk in their sound. In the liner notes he expains where each song got an influence from. The Accused had a big influence on them. Including how the vocals sound.
