I don't like em much. Mayonez has few good top basses, but the worse ones suck hard.

By The way, another bass I didn't see in this whole topic so far...
The Warwick Vampyre Dark Lord, with a standard tuning of low F#BEA...
That must sound infernally deep!
Maurits.

thats fucking stupid.
nobody but nu-metal kids are going to use that shit.
and why the fuck would you buy a bass because of what strings are on it?
thats $40 for new strings and a tuss rod adjustment verses probably a 3000 dollar bass.

Great idea, but I never liked how close the pick-ups were. If I'll use three fingers for triplets, the ring finger is bound to hit the bridge pick-up

you can hear it just fine, it's a low c# I think.
it would destroy any normal 410 or 115 cab though
you would need an accugroove el whappo grande to hear any acceptable tonality

I'd love to hear what that sounds like.
Here are some sweet looking guitars that are shaped like firearms. I know not all of them are basses but they are still fucking sweet.
Beam Rifle
Rifle guitar & bass

The topic title is called "UNIQUE and Interesting Basses" for a reason, you know...
What the hell is unique about mass-produced scrap metal guitars?

That bass kicks. Paul Macartney used something like that. And Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith.
