indeedly, as well as maddening disdain, i think, a few more from celebration of guilt, diamond for disease, and a few others off their new album, that they were selling in advance that night. i didn't get one, but all i have to do is wear a low cut shirt or something and blood red bass'll let me listen to it.

I saw D'espairsRay at Tavastia last sunday and it was fucking awesome! ^^ There were about 700 people. It was on the newspaper too. Some people were in the line for like two days. Best gig ever.

I think it was mostly because of the line. Here is a video of the line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McZS5HqSXHs
There was still about four hours till the show started so that's not the whole line.

Skinless was great. Necrophagist was pretty good but after about the 52nd sweep I was getting a bit tired with their formula. Skinless was simpler and more entertaining. I'm a fan now!

you wouldnt be so enthusiastic about skinless if you had seen them open for every concert over the past four years

LOL, I would have to agree. But they are from your home state and fit in with pretty much any death metal band that would make its way to New York. So you're spoiled.

Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead has been getting some pretty heavy rotation over at my house, I think its really good.

necrophAAAYYYgist > skinless....
that was one of the best events i've ever had the opportunity to hand my money over for. hahaha. really now, strolling across the way to the porn shop only crossed my mind when that dreadful ion dissonance was conjuring quite a disdainful racket up there.

went to see Psycroptic, Viceral Bleeding and Deicide yesterday, missed Psycroptic, Viceral Bleeding was pretty cool (the singer looks like a fucking nazi) but they had a mediocre sound.

Deicide was a completely different ball game though, it was the first show of the tour and all the fans were told that Benton was sick and couldnt play. The truth is that he's still in the states batteling for his custody rights. Anyway, they played without the bass and Seth from Severe Torture took on the vocals (hes the drummer). he did a pretty awesome job considering he had only like 5 hours to practice. It was kinda dumb to watch him with a piece of paper in front of his face all the time hahaha.

Great fucking gig, but i still have the feeling i never saw deicide though, without Benton and the guitar brothers.

Whoa, my neck still kinda hurts from Sodom (29/12/06), and my ankle still heavily busted!

Well, I COULD tell you how it went, or YOU could buy the new Sodom DVD soon (yes! 'Twas recorded!).

NahI'lltellyou:
First some Dutchies called Legion of the Damned. Not tóó shabby, but not my cup of tea. (lot of other +40 year old Dutch people too, good crowd) Then I went out to go search painkillers somewhere (ankle), because Fintroll? Fuck 'em.

Thén came back just in time for Sodom (no painkillers ), got a good place and MAN, when they came up with Blood on your Lips, the room went MAD! They played for another 45 minutes after that and then left, but yeah, 'they'll be back, they didn't say THANK YOU MERCI DANKE SCHÖN' 50 times yet'.

And they CAME back! With 6 (six!) extra songs, like the obligatory Ace of Spades-cover!!! I went màd, FUCK!

It's going to be a góód DVD.

just got back from Watain, Legion of the Damned, Celtic Frost and Kreator; goddamn what a show.

first Watain, sounded plain boring to me, black really isnt my thingy.

Legion of the Damned, pretty decent thrash metal, but too much of the same, no surprises like a cover or a real smasher.

Celtic Frost, whats to say? theyre legendary, played a very solid show but their music tends to get kinda boring after 40 minutes.

Then the almighty Kreator returned with a big ass live-show. The stage was dressed up nice n evil and they had a video-projection during a couple of songs. It really was a best of show since they didnt have a new record out, which was awesome. Pleasure to Kill, Phobia, Tormentor, Flag of Hate, etc. Total ownage

Well, during a show Alexi Laiho spit and someone got it in the face and he seemed to be happy of this..i was like:....eww

I saw a show once, and one of the bands was a true *Quebec/Norwegian* black metal with corpsepainting. During their time on scene they were insulted!...I found it funny...but fucking stupid at the same time, it's their right to play true black metal and wear some gaycorpsepainting
