It is a Digitech 2101 pre amp and Mesa 50/50 stereo power amp. It runs in stereo. These are some of my favorite licks. I have a BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer and a Behrenger digital EQ.I'd like some suggestions on some songs that you think I should learn. Thanks |

BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer very nice; I can pick it up in your sound on the video. I REALLY needa try one of those out. All the bands I see live and go, "Wow that's a fucking powerful tone." are usually using one of those. Anyway, for songs to learn, there are a trillion man. I mean, what general style are you going for? Since there was some Morbid Angel in the vid, Rapture, Invocation of the Continual One, or Angel of Disease would be a few random fun ones, along with anything off Altars of Madness. On a whim one day, I decided to learn Desolate Ways; it's easy to play and an amazing song... so yeah tackle that one too, just for shits. Death songs (from first album to last) are hella fun to play and fairly easy to pick up just by ear, with the exception of solos. I was able to teach myself the rhythms of the entire album of Leprosy in one night. It remains one hell of an album to jam out to. But if you're looking to tackle more technical stuff, look into Way to Salvation or Spheres of Madness by Decapitated and earlier Cannibal Corpse. Then try moving onto anything out of the Suffocation catalogue, earlier Cryptopsy, shit like that.

death's sounds of perseverance is amazing for odd diminished licks that go really well together, chuck is the man.
Look at some Kreator as well, they have some neat things from enemy of god, easy to play sometimes, not so easy other.
Necrophagist is just fucked. Some really hard stuff that doesn't make any sense being put together.
If you wanna learn some hella hard stuff, check out symphony-x, very power metal, but awesomely written....
If you are looking for solo's, go for any racer-x, cacophony, or Jason Becker
If you are looking for thrash metal stuff, check out annihilator (Oh Canada)
