Your Current Weapon (Guitar)
I was wondering what everyone here is currently using, thought it would be fun for everyone to share what guitar(s) they have.
I own a RG370DX, love the guitar to death.
I don't give a crap what others say, Edge Pro II is a really nice tremelo, makes life easy and its so easy to mute on it. Neck feels like your runnin through butter hehe.

theres probably something already on this, but anyway. i play a BC rich warlock, platinum series. standard BC pick-ups, ernie ball .12 gauge strings. it's not the most special of guitars, but i like it's look, it plays very nicely and the sound gets the job done. i wouldn't mind upgrading though, but thats for the future.

ESP LTD EC-1000, They are great for the price, The EMG's do their job and then some, most "metallers" use them but they really dominate in any style. Not as good as a custom shop ESP or at least not as expensive. That's the main guitar anyways.

yeah, there are quite a few other threads exactly like this one. Use the damn search next time if you're that curious.
A Vampire Kiss colored Ibanez 270DX is what I have.

My Jackson RR4 had been my "main" guitar up until about a month ago.
The jackson started giving me problems, so I picked up my ESP LTD H-300 (with 81/85 EMG's) and I was pretty blown away! I have had the H-300 for 4 or 5 years now, but I never remembered it sounding so good! It used to sound kind of dead to me, but now it seems to have endless sustain. That is cool with me, because I always felt bad for dropping $600 on the H-300, only to never be happy with the way it sounded.
The purple hue to the see-through black finish continues to look like shit, however. lol

John is that a Shine Guitar? As far as I know they make guitars for Epiphone BCRich and Ibanez (OEM guitars that is )
Mine is a Squier Stratocaster Affinity series with a Seymour Duncan Hotrails in the bridge and a Dimarzio YJM in the neck. The middle pickup is stock. Great guitart for the money (especially now after the pickup upgrade)

My Squier Strat has a single humbucker and is from the "Bullet" series.
I'm assuming it's a very cheap/stock humbucker?
Perhaps something better woulb be in order....I could aford one but don't think I could install it.

It's not that hard. Just use the solder gun and follow the instructions that come with the pickup (or that you find on the net).

Yep eBay, damn Demon you're on top of everything!
They retailed for $630 US I believe, but this one has a huge chip taken off of the top wing, so it was $300 plus $20 for shipping. I can give you the name of the guy that had it, he had one more for I believe $350 in December, don't know if he still has it. The one he still has also has a cosmetic blemish of some sort. Good luck to anyone finding one, I have looked on eBay myself just to see what they are going for, and I havent seen one in 5 months

No extra guitar? That does'nt make any sense.
It could be worse : You could have to hide your metal albums as if they were contraband or something.
For a starting gutar it does'nt look that bad actually. Save up, sell it, and put the money together for a better axe. That's what I would do.

No extra guitar ... Unless you can play them like Michael Angelo ( for twice as much infernal racket ) I don't see how they'd have a problem with it. What kind of pickups are those? They look like X2N's, find out.

And User 01, since we've established they are'nt X2N's, go ahead and uninstall them, sell them on E-bay, and buy EMG's, when your funds permit you. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Yes ... I paid 550 dollars for it. I just replaced the stock SD JB/Jazz with an 81/85 setup, and I love it. Best instrument I have ever owned.

Yeh, Schecter is awesome. While their guitars are made in Korea.. they have VERY strict quality control, and all guitars must pass their U.S. inspections office.

dont get the dimebag signature pickups. apparently theyre shit, and he never actaully used them. i think he used the bill lawrence (sp?) LX-500...or sumthin like that
im not too clued up about all that stuff, but i do know that the dimebag pickup is shite
EDIT:
hmmm, which one to get...?
http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/zoom/RG350EXBK.jpg
wicked, looks unique and like a prestige guitar. i love the silver pickguard, too bad it would probably get really scratched up!
http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/zoom/RG350DXWH.jpg
very jemish and without the monkey grip! yay! but, hmmm, not sure
http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/zoom/RG370DXBK.jpg
very nice, just awesome, but seems a lil plain

yea, i plan to get a cheap ibanez coz i love the way they play and look. and you get a pretty decent guitar for the price.
if i had more money i would probably get a custom RG ran, but i dont think i would be allowed to spend that much on a guitar.
i think its either the EXBK or the 370

As ashaming as it is, i have 2 Stagg guitars :P One is a copy of a Giibson Flying V (only ok for rhythm as the pickups are the worst sounding EVER), and a Jackson copy, with the sharkfin inlays... it plays alright, i get by with it Gonna get a RAN though after i get my Laney head

I may get it in a RR style though, i need to try one out to see what it feels like (the shape), and i'm gonna have SD's in it instead of EMG's as originally planned
