Yeah, you can do that.Cheaper option would be to buy a replacement neck.EBay would be cheapest, otherwise custom ones can be bought from stores.
Otherwise, it would cost a fair tbit to re-inlay your fretboard with sharktooth.eBay is your best bet.
EDIT: Crayadas, actually you live in Vegas. There is an excellent custom neck builder there. The name escapes me, but research it.

im going to buy an mxr 10 band eq to see how it sounds with it but i also say that about the gain because when i turn it up it has a huge crunch and tube amps get more distortion at higher levels so i cut the mids when im playing at low volumes so it will be mostly bass and treble and a nice chunky crunch

Like the marshall bro, does it play well? I don't care for the guitar much way to razor edged for my blood. How is that multi effects pedal?

The MF400 sounds decent, it's very sterile and doesn't color the sound at all. Handles very high wattage. Tons of headroom. The GK12 speakers pronounce the highs and lows a bit for a naturally scooped sounds(which means you need to cut some treble because it can be painful to hear at high volumes). But personally I wish it had V30 speakers instead of GK12's because I like more mid thick "aw-vowel" voicings rather than slightly scooped "hi fi stereo" voicing. But this cab has a HELL of a bass response.
The RP1 is... not something to jump around for. Probably has better distortion sounds and effects than most DSP/modeling amps you can buy today though. The Flanger and Delay especially sound very good, I can barely tell the difference between my DD-3 and it's delay. I got it for cheap because I wanted something simple to practice/record basic shit with on my comp but didn't want to spend a lot on a preamp or get a crappy distortion pedal. I'll record something basic to give you a gist of the sound.
Haven't recorded anything with my Engl yet, I will when I buy a DI box and recording interface(USB) sometime soon... Now I'm looking for a basic decent 1x12 or 2x12 combo for rehearsals to add to my attire(check my thread here).
I love my Ironbird, it's the only guitar I've ever had without 2nd thoughts of selling it. And I've had many guitars(Jackson JS30 Kelly, DXMG, Charvel Charvette, old lowend Ironbird, and the other 3 electrics I still have which I'm selling). Plays lovely and it's so comfortable it's scary. I'm selling all my others except for my Universe for another high end Ironbird in a different finish(red or blue QM top, or some 80's one in red or white with a Kahler. Either that or maybe a WRXT or WRMG but I don't like the finishes they come in.

"A Marshall" do you mean any marshall cab? The vintage 30(ie: JCM800, 900 or 1960A) cabs sound very different man, as do the MG and Valvestate series Marshall cabs(these are SHITE). So keep your eyes peeled as to what series/model the cab is you're looking at(if it doesn't have a plate at the bottom left or right corner denoting the model type cab, it's probably an MG or Valvestate).
I would personally suggest the MF400 if you play amps like a Orange Thunderverb 200, Crate BV-300, Triple Rectifier, Randall Warhead or other ridiculously high wattage heads. For any amp head in the 60-150W range go for a basic 250-300W vintage 30(or GT12-75) cabinet. It's a good cab but if you play 60W-150W heads you're not going to be taking advantage of what the cab was designed for. It's wicked sturdy though, the walls of the tolex are about 2 inches thick.
There is also a MF280 cab, a lower wattage version of the Mode Four cab but I would personally just go with a basic Marshall/Ampeg/Crate/Framus/etc. vintage 30 cab instead of that because they're the standard.

Nice shit, what Charvel is that? I have a neckthru model 5 with a schaller and I love it.
What's in the rack, ADA Mp1, TC Electronic, and Furman? Is that another 2x12 in the bottom? It's a beutiful rig.

I bought the Charvel as a model 4, but a tech i know reckons that it is a model 2 neck
Yep, the classic MP1, above it is an Alesis Quadraverb, and a power conditioner at the top- not a Furman, but in the UK, they seem to be pretty rare? Yea, the bottom cab is my very own home-built open back 2x12, sounds great I intend to build a 4x12 in '07, and get a proper tube poweramp for the rack.
Cheers

The MP-1 is sweet man! I ordered in some new JJ ECC83S high gain's from Dougstubes. So I can't wait to see the diffrence!
The Fender Heartfield Talon guitar's are great! Well built, fast necks, floyd pro's, dimarzio super 3's, wizard type neck.

Marshall-Laney A/B'ing sounds so great, a really thick sound, just a shame the Marshall doesn't have a clean channel as well.

no big muff with me... i tried my friends BMP USA but it either ate up the bass for me to get any sort of attack, and when i wanted bass, it was all flubby and loose. But its all good, i just figured out how to tweak it to get my desired tone... so i just need a tubescreamer after this.

it doesnt matter too much, Ill play em at a high volume and it will probably pop em back out.
but it doesnt really affect the sound much.

Thanks dude, I'm actually thinking about getting rid of the VH 100 because the band I'm in now requites more of a modern hi gain tone [hence the ENGL/Mesa] but after playing through it the other night I'm not sure if I want to part with it just yet

Thanks dude! Yep it's a M100fm. Sucks to hear that about yours, because I really like mine, the floyd works a charm [it's no OFR but it shits all over one I have on a older no name guitar] stays in tune for weeks with use of the trem. I only need to retune when I change the strings
Pickups arn't the hottest, but you should expect that from low line passives, don't notice much more hum then with EMGs, but I do have a ISP decimator in my rig which keeps everthing very quiet when I'm not playing.
Maybe you just got a dud

Sweet gear dude! Quick question for you, how do you find the NS-2 with the Fireball / how do you run it?
The other guitarist in my band has one and can't seem to cut out the noise through my VH100 when he's using it

Here's a few of my pics - sorry about them being links to a myspace page... I just dont have them uploaded elsewhere.
My Main Guitar
My Pedal Board I made it myself, and it only cost me my lunch breaks at work for two weeks - people have asked me about the washing machine in the background... I tell them that it's a custom rotary unit
My Amp No doubt everyone here has seen a JCM2000TSL before, but mine has a custom paint job - $2 for a jar of red nail polish
enjoy

Current simple rig: 7-string > modded Rat > JCM900
And the modded Rat itself. The left switch has two positions; left: adjusts the tone for higher-tuned stuff, right: lower tuned stuff. The right switch has 3 positions, and it adjusts the clipping stage of the Rat; middle position is stock, left is for MOSFET clipping, right is for LED clipping (the two LED's are positioned in the 'R' and 'T' letters of the front logo, and light up according to how hard you play) I replaced the on/off LED to a blue one too. Going to get ahold of another to have a fiddle with i think.

It's a hodded rat. She doesn't mind to much. As soon as I get a pic, I'll show you the back. I got the 30th anniversery in Cinncinati at Guitar Center. It used to belong to Pestilence.

Here's my ''new'' mid 70's ibanez lawsuit LP custom
http://pic80.picturetrail.com/VOL95...2/297014333.jpg
Amps have changed a bit since I recently sold the Engl Ritchie Blackmore...
Engl SE + Soldano s412 slant cab
Engl Powerball + Marshall 1960b (cab is for sale)
Engl Savage 60 + 1912 cab
Mesa Boogie DC-3 for home practise, awesome little combo.
Also sold the RG750, which I kinda regret. But I also have an RG prestige which I prefer, still the 750 had a nice played-in neck.
Bye bye rg I used to love you

theyre both slants, and wont stack up right. I'm selling the marshall today because the mesa sounds SOOO much better. Also, the mesa feels much more solid, and i like its wheels better, and yeah, overall better cab.
