I got this Krank off a guy a lot cheaper than the regular price, so I really wasn't about to turn that offer down. I had read great reviews, and played it myself before I bought it and I wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't think it played amazing.

if you like it thats fine more power to you... but it's a shady company with poorly built amps. as for the sound, i've played them and they don't compete with any amps in their pricerange(engl, mesa, marshall, rivera, ect..) imo, even most amps below(i.e. 5150, xxx, blue voodoo's, ect..)

Never tried a powerball, I previously had a fireball and loved it so I went straight for the SE. It has a huge thick sound, a massive tight bottom end, it just fills a room with sound, the punch is pretty crazy. Its less fuzzy and alot smoother than the fireball. From the info I gathered everyone who's tried both liked the SE better, some called it a blend of the savage and powerball. Its probably alot more versatile, hence the insane amount of options.

I bought the el-34 version, I wasnt sure either but thats what derekb suggested, he actually said that el-34's were the way to go and that he doesnt even order them with 6l6's anymore. Its simple to bias so I may try out the 6l6's someday.

Yeah the 370DX comes in electric blue, black and that white Vai-ish looking one with the pearl pickguard.
That's a good ol workingman's guitar rig.
