When I don't have a lot of homework, and my hands aren't freezing, I'll post one too. The background music that CC(hope you don't mind that name) was playing got in the way of the solo. Maybe if it was a simple riff it would sound better. I don't know if this means much to you, but you both sound good to me. The second solo that YoungGuitarist posted sounded like the As I Am solo(John Petrucci).

Putting up a backing track for people to improv over would be a better judge than who can play something that's already been done.

i turned 15 in august and i couldnt play like that when I was 14, but for the past year I mainly focused on improving my technical ability, so now I can play like that, maybe better if i actually tried to learn something!

I used the Line Out on my amp to my soundcards Mic In. It worked but the the sound quality isn't the best.

oh yeah i know.i think about it all the time.i can play most of the "hit" stuff on the radio.that obviosly shows you dont have to be good.
i dont remember ever mentioning making money and ####.i just wanna play with this 15 year old kid thats been playing for 8 years and lives like 2 hours away from me.btw im 16 and ive been playing for 2 years.
