My all time favourite vocalist is without a doubt Johhny Rotten from The Sex Pistols, his straight up accent gets me in the mood for some TRUE punk.
Another singer I like is Max Cavalerro (spelling?) from Sepultura/Soulfy, he always sounds like hes going to kick the shit out of someone, sick.
Although i'm not a fan of Slipknot, Corey Taylor has a pretty good voice, he can scream, rap, growl, sing all very well.
Liking/Disliking someones voice is like me saying I like red, no one can prove to me that red is a crap colour.

Trust a scouser to extol the virtues of red. Red will seem quite nice until you see it flowing out of yourself at an alarming rate, at which point it will seem to be a crap color, unless you're very objective or an amazing aesthete. On the other hand, it's supposed to be quite beautiful when shed on snow; so much so that Bergman decided he wanted to film in color based on that image.
And, though there are vocalists I like better, I've always dug on Lemmy.

Hehe... I like Cavalera too, but mostly because it's just fun to mimic his hardcore accent while singing (no offense, Marino!) I've heard a lot of various Portuguese accents (Azorean, Cape Verdean, Brazillian, etc.), so it's pretty easy for me. |

You were one 'o' off (Jonathon). Then the helpful proofreader who 'corrected' you performed a metathesis that left the name equally mangled (Jonothan). Chris's complaint was well-earned by this point, as the one thing worse than spelling incorrectly is correcting it with both thumbs and a head - it may be yours, it may be someone else's, what's important is the location - up your ass. I try not to criticize someone's spelling online, but if it's going to be done, you'd better get the fucking spelling right.
Also: it's Dickinson, not Dickenson. I wouldn't do this, but it's very important that his name is taken down correctly, because he was in Iron Maiden.

No. KsE are about as 'overground' as metal gets these days. Besides, their original singer was much better than Howard Jones anyway, both with the melodic and screaming aspects of singing.

Nocturno Occulto is my favorite, so dark and evil. Also Chris Tucker and Dave Vincent from morbid angel, so much POWER. and any of the nile vocalists, which for some reason is the perfect death metal voice IMO.
