My SL-3 is the same one they posted off of E-bay. (The see-thru red) Except I put a Duncan Ivader pickup in it because the the SH-4 had real loose, mushy bass response. It had great lead tone though. I get a much crunchyer rythem now, but it is kind of a crunchy guitar anyway though. Probaly because the neck thru body. You can reach all the way across the fretboard at the 24th fret. It's got great action and it looks beutiful. There's nothing wrong with the tremlo except the bar keeps working loose a little. It returns right to pitch though.I got it from muscians friend for $1149.Sound kind of like Slayer.

I have an Aria S/S/S stratocaster copy, but I customised it to an H/S/S guitar with an duncan JB humbucer. The guitar sound okay, but the action and neck suck.
I want an Ran, but no way in hell am I gonna get that kind of money...

I thought I was so original in buying the SG for metal. I love my Gibson SG and would have bought it anyways, It's so sexy, but at the time I thought of it as like "Thrash on an SG? And it sounds good? NO ONE ELSE SHALL KNOW!!" But now, fuckin' seen two in here and 1/2 the bands on the gay-ass Battle For Ozzfest got one. I actually think there should be more though, they kick that much ass.

I got a Jackson Rhoads and a Jackson Warrior. I always play the warrior though. I like to use the rhoads for shows where I'd need an alternate tuning.
I also have an Ibanez Acoustic of some kind, and I hate it. I want to trade it in for a Garrison.

Has done a foolish think and has taken Epiphone for 650 $ though could take Ibanez more dearly and under the left hand ,then it would be not necessary to be retrained! It was simple laziness to go on other end of city basically mine Epiphone too good.

I have a lovely Ibanez Sabre and somebody left a pretty good condition Burns Marquee in my uncle's truck so he gave it to me - the Sabre kicks its arse but I use it when playing jazz or blues.

Hamer Guitars
Now this is a sensitive issue and quite subjective, but Hamer guitars are the only ones that "do it" for me. Your mileage may vary, but seldom have I picked up a Hamer that didn't just feel right and at home in my hands.
I currently own:
Korina wood Vector -Flying V-late model
'83 Prototype- highly customised-midnight metallic blue
'86 Blitz-Floyd- Mighty Mite Motherbuckers- ALL BLACK
'87 Vector- Cherry Metallic, Floyd
'83 Sunburst- Trans Cherry
'82 Sunburst- Cherry Sunburst
CruiseBass- tobacco sunburst-late model import
and my very favorite player-
'87 Steve Stevens I, Floyd, in Pepto Bismol Pink
In the wings- late 70s Hamer Special that has been hacked into an unrecognisable mess by some moron. With some help from a friend of mine who builds custom furniture, it is going to wind up a one-of-a-kind custom that many will envy...

Currently I have a B.C. Rich NJ Warlock, which I hate. Why I purchased a piece of fancily-shaped low grade wood with cardboard for pickups and rusty kitchenware as an excuse for a tremelo system ... is beyond me at the moment.
Soon to be replaced with a Schecter C-1 Classic, however. Surely I cannot go wrong with that.

Recently acquired an RG2620QMSP, See-Thru Blue finish on Quilted Maple. Edge Pro trem which stays in tune well, intonation is adequate . DiMarzio/IBZ pickups sounds pretty good although I use it with a Boss Tonesucker so that might be the problem.
Overall good playability and sound.

Don't be soo harsh man, AOS what model you getting?, i'm hoping to get a RR custom Ran.
At the moment I have MY LTD M-202 with an 81/85 combo, which sounds good, quite a thick neck though.
A Jackson KVX10, which i'm selling to get the Ran, I just dont use it It's like it was brand new, still has the factory strings.
Some crappy old tele copy adn a cheapy acoustic.
I should be getting an RG 321 soon, or i'll get a refund from the shop I ordered it on te 27th or so of august.
