the Darkness - I Belive In A Thing Called Love, it isn't metal but it's awsomely fun to play and has a really easy solo
Any Bloodhound Gang stuff is VERY easy.
Metallica - Creeping Death
Manowar - Warriors Of The World
Twisted Sister - Come On Fell The Noise
Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock

Cold Hate, Warm Blood is a very fun song to play. Come to think of it, all of the Cryptopsy songs I know how to play are, once you get your head around them (this takes a while, obviously).
An easier one that also rules: well, The Philosopher for one, mainly for the intro bit. Damn I love that.

That's just taking the easy way. Learning a solo correctly helps you improve. but that's my opninion.

I sort of agree with you. When someone starts playing guitar, I highly recommend learning solos and nailing them right on keeping rhythm. Its not only good practice but it'll help you find your own style. On the other hand, where I'm at now I think other peoples solos are boring to learn cause I'm devolping my own death/blues sound and other bands only cramp my style.

I have the same, in my band we cover paranoid from black sabbath and witching hour by venom, none of the solo's i play then are exactly the same as on the record. I play something that sounds like it but something that also has my own style.

Suffocation - Catatonia
Morbid Angel - World of Shit, Desolate Ways, and Maze of Torment.
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls
Metallica - most songs from Kill em All
Children of Bodom - Needled 24/7(not so much now)
Dissection - Into Infinite Obscurity.
Edit: Fuck me, how could I forget these:
Slayer - Mandatory Suicide
Decapitated - Spheres of Madness
Manowar - Thor(The Powerhead), Call to Arms.
I rarely stick to just one song now, I just play whatever riff comes to mind and I screw around with it, and link to other songs...

Cannibal Corpse: Skull full of Maggots, Hammer smashed face.
Dying Fetus: Grotesque Impalement, Bringing Back The Glory(ok technically not them...) and Destroy The Opposition. Blunt Force Trauma seems fun enough so far but I wouldnt class it as easy for myself, yet.
Lunatic of Gods Creation/Biblebasher! (Deicide. duh.)
And a few riffs from Seven by Necrophagist. Oh yeah, Advanced Corpse Tumour is easy. hahahanoimkidding. I cant play it for shit.
I mainly practice my own stuff now though so thats why I dont play many songs.

Yes, I agree with you.
One and half year ago, when I started playing electric guitar, my warmup was "Master Of Puppets" When I have seen the Night's Blood tab, I was feeling like Ferentz List when he lessoned Shopen's playing: it was wery difficult to me! But in one month I learned this excellent song and then played it to my girlfriend with words: "It's my new level!" Then my "new levels" was Dimension Zero Your Darkest Hour and now it's Dream Theater's "Stream Of Consciousness" and COB's "Bodom After Midnight"

I heard they had changed their vocalist for the cd after Season for assault, but got the old one back, well at least for the gig i was... near
He wasnt all that great live, he had real nice growls but his screaming was hella off sounding like the cds, but the band sounded spot on

well then, any black dahlia murder
any prayer for cleansing,
through the eyes of the dead,
the red chord,
between the buried and me,
a life once lost,
shadows fall,
dead to fall
