YES!!! that is going to be awesome. I just heard suffocation for the first time a few weeks ago. I always thought they would just be another "boring" death metal band... i was wrong. That show will kick ass. And what can make it better? Its on my birthday! haha

Whats up!
Im now on two forums! killer! I'll be at the 4-20 show in filthadelphia.I just went to the asbury park two day metalfest and Trey and the boys came on right after dimmu and nevermore and Sandoval did "drum check" while the house lights werestill on and dimmu's roadies were still disassembling their stage!! The house lights were on and even the roadies to both bands stopped to watch the most intense drum display Ive ever witnessed. All hail the bastard child of classical and rock-n-roll! Morbid is the top of the rock ignorance is accepted as is denial!

I saw them in Charlston WV and they played
Lord of Fevers and Plauges
Chaple of Goules
Sworn to Black
Rapture
World of Shit
The one off Gateways with the crickets.
some from blessed, formulas, and some knew ones.
Steve Tucker walked right past me and the new 2nd guitarist was hanging out in the crowd smoking. Can any one tell me who he is?

Ya that sounds like the usual playlist. They always do chapel of ghouls last. Nothing from gateways? That sucks! Ive never heard where the slime live LIVE yet.

holy shit........... i saw suffocation monday. Best metal performance i've ever seen.
Frank Mullen is totally insane so is Mike smith. 1 ½ hour set. They played lots of new stuff (4 songs) but nothing from despise the sun (it's the only negative point from the show). I saw Terrance in the street before the show. Cryptopsy where there (except for lord worm). I got a pick from Guy Marchais (with is signature on one side and "internal bleeding" on the other, he also sign my Soul to Deny album and my ticket.
They played
Infecting the crypt, Breeding the spawn, Liege of inveracity, Effigy of the forgotten, Suspended in tribulation, Pierced from within, Thrones of blood, Thorns into enthraillement, Soul to Deny, Demise of the clone, Deceit, To weep once more.....

I saw them tuesday at Foufounes Electriques (Montréal)... (DELETE, where did you see them Monday ?) along with Dying Fetus, Malamor and Despised Icon. Despised Icon was good, as was Malamor. John Gallagher (Dying Fetus) somewhat managed to do all the vocals alone (the main vocalist wasn't there)... he's a fucking beast.
As for Suffocation, I guess it was also one of the best performance I'd seen in a long time. Hobbs and Marchais were going insane with their blazing solos and brutal riffs, the drummer and bassist were tight as hell, Mullen knew how to drive the crowd crazy, and, well, everything was great. They played exactly the same songs you mentioned.
I wish I knew more of the new material though, I'd have probably appreciated the show even more.
Fuck, these guys are incredible. They all have kids now, and they could have a quiet, well-ordered life, but they choose to continue putting albums out and touring everywhere. How cool is that.

I would go but then I remembered that I only liked two albums by Satyricon. Nemesis Divina and Dark Medieval.

Don't worry, the tour is over anyway. They're heading toward Europe now.
