7 min movie + question about heel/toe technique

Hi all

I just started learning the heel/toe technique. Thanks to DrummerMom - great site! you might check/link this movie too, it's a very good tutorial.

http://www.ciaccess.com/~sgtbacon/heel_toe_training.wmv

I have a question though. On every sample movie those guys play with their socks... I can pull some out that way too, but from the moment I have my shoes on, my feet get *way* too big and I can't pull none anymore... Help?

(again) i think it just the way you prefer it. Shoes of/on, special shoes etc. If you feel you preform better with shoes than drum with shoes.

Exodus666,

Being able to do this technique with shoes on will become easier over time. Work on it with your shoes off for about a month. This way you should really have it down, then try it with shoes on.
