COWBOYS & ALIENS (stonerrock), 2nd place InQuest (death/Grind), 3rd place Thurisaz (melodic black).
Although C&A is pretty cool for stonerrock.. Its not fit for a METALfest...  |

Yeah, it probbably won't be as sunny as I would like to be, but anything is better than that storm that is raging for 2 days now...

Is it actually normal that - of the bands I have seen from the first line (which are about 13 bands) - 80% of the guitarists plays with a Mesaboogie dual rectifier?

Did anyone see Dillingers escape plan? Their sound sucked so much on Graspop.
And did anyone see Dimmu Borgir? It was a great gig, but they refused to do anything after the show...everyone was "we want more" for at least 10 minutes before it all turned to BOOOOOOOO!!!

Dimmu Borgir = fat show.
But the same as with Hypocrisy, Children, ... time's up = time's up. No band could play extra's.
Slipknot I only watched one song, so I'd be front row for Cradle
As far as I could hear it & from being told: they played pretty tight for being with 9. Sorry if it's the trend to say they suck - but I'm not gonna say it. 
And Dillinger Escape Plan was fucking great (front row again ), pretty 'active' show. During the next gig in that marquee the singer was standing just behind us... what a huge arms he has must work out twice a day or something |

Halford is still the metal god
Life of Agony was so so
Fear Factory was nice even without Dino
Apples are tasty and cheap
Walking too much makes my feet hurt
Testament needs to play NEW songs
